Not too many reactions to this cause it's pretty new, but check out "My Maria" with Austin and Tim (side project). Can Tim go as high as Austin...you betcha ya! Not acapella, but, just an amazing cover of Brooks and Dunn, sung by a high tenor and low bass, except that's not how it plays out. I can't stop dancing in my seat when I hear it. ;) Keep up the great reactions. You're one of my fav's on youtube.

I am 63 and have only been to probably around 6 concerts in my life. Like you, I always found them too expensive, and I also tend to like the studio versions of most songs over a live performance. My first concert was when I was in high school. We saw the band Chicago and our parents thought we were too young to go by ourselves, so my girlfriend's mother went with us - we ALL had a blast! I remember coming out of the concert and walking to our car and literally had hearing problems, they were so loud! They would be a super band for you to react to, if you haven't already. I had read somewhere that Austin wrote this song, as many others here said, beause of a breakup with his girlfriend. What made things more difficult was that she was the stylist for Home Free (I don't think that meant necessarily hair and makeup, but more like helping to pick out the clothes they would wear, etc.) She continued to be their stylist even after she and Austin broke up - which made things a little awkward, at best. Not sure if she still is doing that job. Austin's new girlfriend might have something to say about that.....! Although it's so difficult to pick a favorite song of mine from Home Free, this one is definitely up there in the top two or three.

Austin wrote this, when he broke up with his girlfriend a few years ago. He put his heart and soul into the writing and singing of it. I'm like you I love story songs as well. The boys were awesome as always. 😍😍

Original song written by Austin and friends Steven Martinez & Jeffrey East. It's based on the ending of a five year relationship between Austin & Olena. The emotions in Austin's voice are real heart felt feelings.

This was a really hard song for Austin. He didn't finish it and a few years later his friend and writer Jeffrey East helped him finish it. Then Rob has said the first time he saw Austin sing this it was very hard for him, he barely got through it. He said he still feels something every time he sings it. I can relate, sometimes the pain stays, just changes and you move on to other and even better things.But then something triggers those feelings again. Thanks for your great reactions. Take care.

That look you had at the end of the song made the entire reaction! 😄👍❤️ Lovin' your reactions! Btw: my first concert was in 1972-ish to see CSN. It was in a packed Cleveland baseball stadium where 8 of us tried to share a spot on 2nd base! LOL! I believe they said there were 82k(?) squeezed into that stadium, and at the time I don't think it was designed for that many. The weed that filled that stadium was crazy (esp for way back when)! All you had to do was sit there, listen, and 'just breathe' for a good time! 😉🤭😄

Heck I once paid 100 dollars for the nose bleed section to see the Rolling Stones, but I at least can say I was there. My first concert will really tell you how old I am. It was Gary Lewis and the Playboys. Any one know who that is.. But I've been to hundreds of concerts since. A lot of country bands, Neil Diamond the most times, The Who, Creedance Clearwater revival, Garth Brooks 3 times and many others but I've yet to make to my Homefree. Still hoping when they get close.✌

Thank you! One of Austin’s co-writers on this beautiful song was Jeffrey East my top other favorite country artist with Home Free. His video for People with Home Free is a beautiful song. Home Free covered his song Why Not on this album as well.

Love this song. My first concert was the Beatles. My last concert pre-COVID was the 2 Cellos. Hope I can fly to America next year to see Home Free.

Don't know where you are located, but I think that next year they will try to finish the European Tour they had to cut short because of COVID. Check out their web page as they are posting new tour dates, maybe Europe is on their agenda. If you're not in Europe, then I wish you luck, and hope you get to see them soon. ✌️

@@sherrettemccarthy5703 Now that is funny! My first concert was The Beatles, they played in Los Angeles California, I think when I was 16, about 1966 or 1967. My next concert will be in November, I'm seeing a very popular Internet acapella band called Home Free. If you don't know them, I suggest you give a look at their video Man Of Constant Sorrow. My guess is that we are about the same age (but I would NEVER ask), and I've been blessed to have been to many concerts over the years, and have seen many bands. Wonderful memories. ✌️😎

@@Tribblepuppy Hi, I guess we are about the same age and I saw the Beatles live 3 times. Still listen to their music now. I found Home Free on You Tube at the start of the first COVID-19 lockdown in England. I couldn’t believe I had never heard of them before that. I love Country Music and I was lucky enough to see John Denver at the London Palladium when I was a lot younger. I think all the members of Home Free are so talented and I enjoy everything they do. I am so envious that you have seen them in concert. I have seen most of their videos but I’m guessing nothing compares to seeing them live.hope you enjoy yourself in November.

This was a song that Austin wrote about his ex-girlfriend. They were together for 5 years and broke up. He is now with a wonderful woman named Amberly. Truly enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.

My first concert was Ronnie Milsap when I was like 13. My mom was a huge fan. Same with Charlie Pride a year later.

Dec. 5th I don't like to go by myself! My 1st was Deep Purple,Dio & ?? 😂😂 My last concert was Poison "Power to the People" Recorded Live $85. Someone gave a ticket stub row 1 throwed 2 roses 1 on each side of his feet perfectly both facing me I couldn't believe it cause I can't throw/catch 🤔😘 Love Bret & Kevin Costner 🔥

My very 1st concert was at the old Orange Bowl here in Miami in 1978. It was KC & the Sunshine Band who were a Miami band...Harry Casey, the lead singer was from Hialeah & a grad of Hialeah High - that's just 5 miles or so north of where I sit as I type this.

I love this song. It’s an original. Austin wrote it after his breakup with a longtime girlfriend. They were together 5 years. He’s now with Amberly and seems happy. It’s so good it should be on the radio. Try another Austin song When You Walk In. It’s good too. Good reaction TS!

@@ha8512 Yes. Her name is Olena. She's their stylist and makeup artist. She did the hair and makeup for the hilltop shoot, but not the beach shoot.

Love your reaction to this. I was so sad for Austin when his relationship ended and he wrote this song. Fortunately he met Amberly and she gave him a chance. Between having Amberly in his life and the 'rest' covid forced on the band his singing has only gotten better.

Eh. They broke up in 2018 and he didn't get together with Amberley till 2020, so he was single for 2 years.
