It came out in 1987. These guys had way too much Fun doing this one !!! Just love their sense of humor !!!!!...the day before it came out (Apr. 1st) ...they Rickrolled us 3 Times ...LOLOL...The crazy guys 🙃‼️🙃💖

Austin’s outfit and Robs trench coat are nods to the original video and artist Rick Astley, he wears those exact outfits in his video!

Hahaha you got the humor. Yes, doing the Astley moves..haha. Tim was great doing the running man and the worm. Rob was great in the lead and loved Tim backing him up. Austin cracked me up doing his goofy dance moves. Good reaction!

For me, this song brings back the last few days our the happy marriage with my wife...before cancer took her from me...she passed on Jan 8th, 1991

Great Reaction!!!! I was 14 when this came out!!!! I'm such an 80s girl!!!! I Will Never Tire of Listening to 80s Music!!!! I Love Rick Astley!!!! I use to dance in my room all the time to this one!!!! lol Even though I Wasn't that great at Dancing!!!!

This song was on my middle school/high school soundtrack. Still can't help but love it. And the Home Free version? Priceless. Especially Austin's dance moves. Oh, and the fashion nods to the original video.

I really enjoyed watching your reaction. I loved that four of the guys wore the outfits that Rick Astley wore in his video. Tim was being the only one I don't think wore one.

Thank you for this reaction. It is just so much fun and goofy at the same time. The guys are something else with the fun and the serious songs. LOL this really brings back the eighties! I was 15 years old when Never Gonna Give You Up came out, we're talking the walkman-days, yeah.... big tape on the eighties-high-waist-belt, small headphone (never fitted right) over the back-combed cotton candy like hairspray-fluff on my head, and when I wanted to hear the song again... rewind bit by bit and listen in between until you are at the beginning of the song. Some precision job that was, LOL!

The funniest description I heard of Tim in this video was that he looked like "the loneliest 'eighties gym instructor." And Austin was dialling it up to 27 the whole time - how could anyone not love him? In 1987 I would've been 16 years old, so I'd have still been living at home and just about to finish comprehensive school and embark on further studies in sixth form... or so I thought. Didn't turn out that way in the end, but that's a whole other story.

Since you were in the Navy, you should check out their Sea Shanty Medley. Both Austin and Tim go full costume, and Austin channels Johnny Depp!

So good to have you back. Missed you and your laugh/enjoyment in this process. I have to confess that I had not heard the original so this was all new for me. But I can tell that it is definitely a throw back to my junior high/high school days. The 'look' and dance moves that they recreated are hysterical but classic act vocals as always. Have you reacted to "Elvira," "My Church," or "Meet In the Middle" yet?

1987 was my junior/senior year of college, and I remember dancing to this at Milwaukee’s Park Avenue nightclub on New Wave Night (every Thursday night, $2 cover charge, no drink minimum, and they weren’t picky about carding, which didn’t affect me, but did worry a few friends). This was probably one of the poppier songs they played, but it was too infectious not to spin it, in the midst of OMD, The Cure, and New Order.

@@rocksolidreactions3901 don't get me wrong they do copyright claim but they don't block, so if you don't care about making money then your golden voctave, voiceplay, Peter hollens, Austin brown, Tom macdonald and the hound + the fox, all the same don't block, pretty much making ptx the outlier

@@rocksolidreactions3901 They put out a new song every couple of weeks during quarantine. They were in their individual homes. They do serious, funny and everything in between. Take your pick. I really enjoy "Everybody Walkin This Land", "Down to the Honkytonk", "Moonshine", "When a Man Loves A Woman", "How Great Thou Art", "God Bless the USA", the list goes on and on. Thanks.
