Just so you know. In this video, the baritone member was still Adam Rupp's brother Chris Rupp. They started the group together in 2000. Adam Chance, known by Chance and born in Florida, but grew up in Alabama, joined the group when Chris left in mid 2016. Any videos before July of 2016 have Chris in them. The rest (except for White Christmas & House Party, which have both guys but only 1 sings in each) have Chance in them. You'll see the difference in other videos from Home Free that aren't in the dark.

Welcome to Home Free. Your set up and research prior to the video was one of the best I have seen. HF has over 320 million views on KZfaq and well over a hundred videos. So as a new Home Fry, I would recommend on future HF reactions you wear a headset or ear buds to really appreciate the intricate harmonies they do, that you would not hear from just speakers. It really makes a difference. As for recommendations, imo here are 5 of their best vids: How Great Thou Art, Do You Hear What I Hear, Mayday, Helplessly Hoping, Take Me Home Country Roads.

I knew you would love the guys when you heard them. Tim Foust, the bass singer has more than 5 octaves in range. He actually helped/showed Avi how to hit lower notes than he had previously. Each song you listen to from Home Free will show you a different facet of their talent! To see more of their amazing skills, you may want to try a few of these (you will find something new in each one) For rowdy fun "The Butts Remix", or straight country "Hillbilly Bone", for heavenly arrangements by their beatboxer and incredible vocals (as well as a multi octave run from Tim) try a "Do You Hear What I Hear", for a cute romance "Thinking Out Loud/Lets Get It On" , country song done with a touch of Motown "Blue Ain't Your Color"... a touch of BoysIIMen "End of the Road" , or perhaps reaching out for a spiritual lift "My Church" , serious "How Great Thou Art".. or just something to start the new year in perfect harmony "Auld Lang Syne"

you hit most of my favorites. I love hearing those harmonies so in addition to you're previously mentioned "Auld Lang Syne" I'm partial to " Seven Bridges Road" and "Helplessly Hoping," and even after hearing it multiple times I'm in awe of how they create the sound effects in "man of constant sorrow"

Home Free is a phenomenal a cappella group, thank you for your reaction! You can't really go wrong with anything they create but a few suggestions...from their Country roots their cover of Maren Morris' "My Church". For something up tempo "Can't Stop The Feeling". For something deep their cover of John Mayer's "In The Blood". For a laugh their "Butts Remix" (they have a great sense of humor). And don't miss the amazing harmonies and spectacular backdrop in their rendition of "How Great Thou Art".

I'm a huge Home Free fan!! I love to watch New "reactors" to Home Free! They are very very talented. They do not just cover Country Music! They have done Blues, Pop, and even Broadway tunes. Their original songs are all Country based however. The more you react to them, the more I'll watch. PTX is also very talented, but in my opinion, HF's overall voice quality (and harmonies) is a little better than PTX. This is not a slam on PTX, but the songs/genre they cover is not really my thing.

I'm calling you out! You are a true Pentatonix reactor and the only reason you listened to Home Free in the first place was to see/hear Avi! You didn't wear headphones and have never given Home Free another reaction. I've never seen a reactor not comment on the last note that Tim hits and holds. I actually listen to a lot of Home Free songs...love How Great thou Art; End of the road; take me home country road...LOVE THAT! The issue is that it is hard to get their videos up without them being blocked these days. I am happy for those people who are able to get them up without issue...be blessed friend✌️

Yeh, we are so frustrated too when we see that some people can get these videos up. I so enjoy all about that bass...we video a reaction to that one and boom! YT bots 🤖 we could not get it unblocked no matter what we did. After all that work...with editing and all it is so disheartening especially when we know people were on the look out for it. We saw one of our good friends posted a reaction of how great thou art a few weeks ago and we were so shocked that they got it up. We plan to ask them what trickery they used...we will hopefully start trying again!!!! 😁✌️

I prefer HF over PTX, respectfully, but I am a country fan. These two are apples and oranges. The way I would describe and compare the two, in the same conversation is this: PTX would be my choice is I were at a party and want to party. HF would be my go to at a BBQ kickin’ back with my friends and singing a little. As for Avi and Tim. I will leave this alone. To each their own. As for this song and vid. Avi was a huge addition to the sound of this rendition. With Chance now I’m the picture, HF can do the same. Notice the last note by the bass. Look very closely. It’s actually Tim. Thanks for coming by. It truly is a hit and miss. You just have to keep searching until you find a version of the video that is able to be used. Fan Cam versions usually work well but you have to find one with good video quality...

@@DrewsClues I've noticed other reviewers not needing to do interrupts interrupt once they get over 20K subscribers or so. But just stop with your impressions so far, then back it up 10 seconds before restarting. Just do a couple of time when there is a natural pause (not always easy). Good luck.
