Enjoyed that very much , the DIY stores here in the UK are really good , even here in rural Suffolk there are a dozen within 30 minutes , but NONE of them sell wine 🍷🍷🍷

Another great edition, its uncanny how this reflected my daily though process on DIY in my French house and planning around lunchtime and if I'm dealing with English or French plumbing! My next visit I'll be towing my newly acquired trailer and ride on mower!

Thanks Dave. I think the content is so close to your experience is because Andy and I have both lived them. Well done on the mower and trailer. I would advise you to be careful when you stop at the services on the way down and don't leave it unattended. All the best. 👍🏼

Very interesting as always, thank you for all the info. I have a suggestion, could you cover the subject of fosse septic non conforming and having to replace. We have just moved house in France and we have 1 year to do this, thereafter if we don’t do it, we get a yearly fine. Added complication is that our house waste water, not toilet, goes into the road but it is a big problem as we can get fined a massive amount for this. When we bought our house we knew that the fosse did not conform but not the waste water situation which was not disclosed by the previous owners or picked up by the notaire. So we have to find a solution for this asap.

Not really diy but in France as well as Spain replace a tyre have to replace 2

@@frencheartrumpet yes cost me 380e for one split tyre as they have to replace both the non split one was about a month old but sill me just wanted to go home and did not collect the other lol

Customer service is non existent here it gets better if you get a delivery for example stuff on pallets there's a deposit for pallets they give you a credit note 😅

I have a stack of pallets I usually just give them one so i don't get charged.
