I have a full Klipsch RP setup I love, but I always look at more premium setups dreaming of the day I'll have em. But after watching your channel for a while and seeing you with access to some of the best stuff out there and you still change speakers pretty frequently. I now know there's no need for me to go down the ULTRA premium lines, because even at that level you'll still want other speakers.

The RP- line is fantastic for home theater. I wouldn't be too anxious to jump to another brand. If you love the Klipsch sounds, the only upgrade I'd suggest for end-game is JTR.

Good clarification on the channel and your intentions. Definitely makes it more clear for your viewers. I think a lot of people misunderstood from your previous videos and comments that Ascendo would be your endgame speakers for the new HT space. That aside, great decision jumping up to the bigger RBH speakers. They should fill out that space a lot better.

Hi Shane, another great review so do you think The RBH speakers are better than the ascendo Speakers, I was thinking ascendo for the sides and 2 x 12” and 2 x 10” for the Centre speaker I’m 110 inch TV which will set above the TV do you think Perlisten would be a better option thank you

Waiting for that theater drop! Still thinking about doing 11.2.6 type setup? Thought I saw you doing a rear center in one of your designs. Love the 661/r I have the version before this which was a SI-760/R for my rear channels and love them!

I though I was crazy with my 400 watt per channel setup but 700 watt continuous into those speakers? Holy peanut butter that has to be some serious headroom. I can't imagine what the dynamic range experience would be like for those. With a sensitivity of 91 dB it may melt your face off haha. As much time as you spent taking about the bass of these speakers I wish you would have shown some frequency sweeps. You mentioned that the M66 has DIRAC. Would be nice to see where they start to drop in your room. Maybe in another vid. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing the full build 🍺

@@therealshanelee If you do the insight series it's not insanely expensive but if you are talking the larger in wall speakers yeah it's easily 125k-200k for a full system.

I would think for front theater speakers, you would want them to go below 70, even though you have a sub just so you have more options on the crossover

I bought a pair of RBH speakers on eBay by mistake (scrolling on eBay half a sleep in bed😂) Tell you what, thay are my favourite speakers and 6 years later they are still going. I would like to upgrade but shipping to the UK makes it uneconomical.😢

I'm not upset or anything, just curious because I was thinking of buying Ascendo, and you're the only reviewer that had them, but then you moved away, so I was wondering why. I think the Ascendos are a good fit my needs, but it doesn't mean I'm not curious about what else is out there :P.

Speaking of new speakers quick question rythmik or rel subwoofers to complement my polk reserve speakers I went with for imax and price @polkfan has 4 rythmik and I love the sound but will gladly go with whatever you recommend oh yeah I officially just became an entry level patreon

Rythmik is a better bang for your buck if your comparing same priced subs. The higher end Rels are better built.
