Күн бұрынI'll be honest I'd never really considered getting an ultrasonic for my jewelry before this. Having worked with industrial strength ones at the studio I kinda wrote off home ultrasonics as probably not being strong enough to get the job done. But I'm genuinely impressed with how well this got my stuff clean. I do wish it had worked a bit faster, but all things considered, that's a small complaint. If you've looked into getting one of these for yourself and your collection, I think it's a solid choice!

As an FYI, ultrasonic cleaners can and do cause pitting in metals. Use only glass containers in the basket, never plastic. Chemistry beakers are ideal. Fill the machine's container with ordinary water and just put the cleaning solution in the glass containers. Warm solutions clean better than cold. Leave items in the cleaning bath only as long as necessary.

Omg the waterpik for cleaning ears. I know this video was a review for an ultrasonic cleaner but I'm sold on using my waterpik. Thank you for the great advice!

I became a pro at changing my own jewelry in nursing school lol. When you got to do it once a week for 2 years you get used to it fast.

Maybe it’s time for me to invest in a water pick. I hate having to take out my conch plug to clean behind it. My dentist will be so pleased to hear I’m finally getting one 😅 Btw those hangers are so cute! I love the flash as they move.

i wonder if ultrasonic cleaning solution would help? i have a septum with 20 prong set baguettes and i want to restore it to its former glory of not having all my nostril skin under the stones

Lmao the way you worded this made me laugh. I to wish to remove all of my nostril skin from most of my nose jewelry! Alas these small personal ultrasonics are usually not designed to be used with enzymatic cleaning solutions. So water and longer cycle times are what’s best with these ones.

I wear silicone tunnels in my lobes 24/7 even in the shower. I've had my ears pierced since I was an infant and the last stretch was 4 years ago so they're more than healed and I'm lazy. Silicone does not breathe and I rarely take them out so when I remember I'm supposed to do that and actually get around to it, they're so nasty. Luckily they're easy to clean. I can just wash them in the sink or wipe them with an alcohol swab and then pop them back in. But I'm soooooooo bad with them lmao

I've done my piercings at home. While most have turned out well, I wouldn't recommend it. Difficult to ensure a smooth pass with a needle. I'm sure it's why my anti tragus flares up from time to time when I change jewelry. Other than that my three labrets, high nostril, forward helix, and right tragus turned out fine. The left tragus has been a difficult healing. Only flares up when I change the jewelry. Lol, do as I say not as I do.
