Trust me, I wish surface work was the magical fix to anatomy struggles with post-op anatomy. But even in the best of cases these piercings are long-term temporary, and the scarring they leave can be very severe. It's important to consider that when even considering a project like this, and I would caution people to really put a lot of thought into this as the risks are quite high.

Thank you for making this video, I've been wanting to get my nipples pierced after having top surgery a year ago, but my nipples are entirely flat now and I had no idea what that might mean. Think I'll have to stick to tattoos!

do you just remove a piercing when it starts rejecting? my eyebrows im 99% certain are rejecting and theyre super pissed all the time

As someone who has considered surface work for the scars what I'm hearing is get branded instead. I imagine someone who feels differently about the scars might feel very different.
