Eh... Why do people say that Homelander is afraid of Soldier Boy? When he found out where he was, he flew there and then proceeded to engage him in combat that he planned on being to the death. If he was truly afraid of the man, that makes Homelander truly brave as he conquered that fear and confronted it. Pick your choice - he wasn't afraid or he was afraid and brave.

It's actually really sad that Homelander ends up killing him for not telling him he had an actual father and wasn't just a no parent lab experiment. It made Homelander really cry bc he knew he had been betrayed by him not at least writing it down that you hav a father, but he's gone. Noire was the last one he still trusted and respected and when he felt betrayed by him it hurt him more then any of the other times he's felt used or betrayed.

Like, for a sec, i felt for homelander in that scene. Just for a sec. Like out of everyone, noir is prolly the only person homelander had any sliver of respect for. The only person he liked, even if just a little. And the only person he probably felt didn't completely hate him. To hear that he ran, even tho he was running from "not captain America" and not himself, that still had to be the biggest blow homelander has felt in a long time that actually stuck. So, just for a moment, i gave HL a tiny bit of sympathy.
