Love how terrified Homelander is of Soldier Boy, dude busted his face up and sent him flying with his tail between his legs, I’d like to think during the part where Homelander has the upper hand while choking out Soldier Boy it would cause Soldier Boy to get pissed because he is losing and his chest would start lighting up kind of like how he got dogpiled and gassed in the finale but was able to overcome them because his PTSD of fearing going back in the box.

Homelander got his first bruise at Herogasm, but up until that time NOTHING that had ever been thrown at him had harmed him in any way. In Vought Tower, Maeve as able to bloody Homelander's nose and rupture his eardrum with a mere piece of metal. But Homelander had said he had flown into space and looked down on the Earth. Edgar will threaten to release Soldier Boy from his capsule cell if Homelander doesn't tow the line--even though Edgar does not have control over Soldier Boy's cell.

Since they changed the whole Black Noir story from the books, it wouldn't surprise me if Ryan kills him. He's the only one powerful enough to do it from what I can see so far aside from soldier boy removing powers. Maybe Homelander kills Butcher in front of Ryan and does to Homelander what he did to Stormfront? Really excited to see how it unfolds.

Which is dumb, because Homelander was literally a test-tube baby who has been isolated and experimented upon his entire life, and is actually a victim of the corporation. He's despicable, but then, he wasn't raised right. Maeve saying that he has no friends etc doesn't mean anything, because she doesn't really have any either, and she didn't have any of his excuses for it. This was just the writers trying to make it deep, when honestly he can shrug the entire thing off and crush her skull whenever he wants to.

For whatever reason his teleportation is actually the result of his body releasing an energy that acts like electricity in which it conducts through biological material very well, so it can jump to other people if he's touching them, but his clothes, not being biological in nature, lack the ability to "conduct the 'electricity'" every atom is then all at once quantum locked in relation to one another, shrunk down to quantum levels, then quantum tunnels to the intended location, where 'organic recoherency' occurs, the matter grows out of quantum scaling, and their bodies reform all in an instant. If he had a prosthetic hip or something his power would be useless.

Oddly enough this comment reminded me of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. If memory serves me right, there was an episode where they could become human instead of staying as Turtles, and in the end they decided they were better off being Turtles because it's who they were, even if it would've been easier to fit into society as a human being than to be feared or looked down upon by society.

Reason I love this show is because everyone has their own justifications for doing what they do so nobody is really actually even the bad person Homelander is obvious, they grew him in a lab and they threw every weapon they had at the time and more to see how "invulnerable" he was No surprise he ends up fucked in the head

The worst thing that could happen to him is if he were forced to live an everyday, boring, mundane life, with no powers, like the rest of us. That would be torture for him. I don't know the lore of the series but that's just my observation based on the clips I've seen. Antony owns this role.

He has nothing without his superpowers. He never had a chance to develop a personality, life, or internal identity outside of that. Although i somewhat feel bad for him, hes also far past the point of being able to ever grow as a person, nor would he ever want to, because admitting he has flaws and isnt the embodiment of perfection would be too big of an ego wound and his subconscious cant allow that to ever happen to himself. And hes knowingly done horrible things to innocent people, all because he didnt get his way. He is, in a sense, the ultimate "tragic hero" for the ancient trope.

Everyone talking abouta depowered Homelander but Homelander had V in him since birth, because he was the child of Soldier Boy. I feel like depowering him would just erase his DNA and would possibly kill him.
