Homeless but money for drugs? Could the drugs cause the homelessness? I have known homeless people who weren't addicted to drugs. The cities that provide the needles and a safe place to do the drugs are a part of the problem, not the solution. Billions spent on the homeless, but can someone show me even one home that has been built for a homeless person.

@@chucksucks8640I think that's okay too. Not everybody can or wants to live with social norms. But certainly not at the expense of the working tax paying public. There are some communities who have created a territory for themselves, somewhere away from urban centers. There was also a social experiment "Rose Island" in Italy where like minded people tried to establish an independent community. They had quite a struggle with the Italian government, who in the end forced them to leave the island.

On the other hand, the alternative communities also have rules. They make up their own rules and you have to adhere to them if you want to be accepted into a particular community. Turns out these rules are more restrictive than our social norms and understanding. So if addicts don't want to be productive, they should leave the neighborhoods, find an isolated place where they can do what they want, don't bother ordinary citizens. And nobody bothers them. They can do their drugs until eternal oblivion.
