VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
Vanessa was homeless for ten years and endured several trials along her way before coming into the knowledge of van life. This brave powerhouse took her small funds, purchased a Ford Cargo Van, and started a new chapter on the road. With faith that all would be provided for, she started her conversion, and it's been a work in progress ever since!
Vanessa is a thrifter, so most things in her rig were recycled, gifted, or found at second-hand stores. She's creative with interchangeable decor and loves to bring light and brightness into her home. As a fashionista, her closet stands the entire length of the van and is highly organized with bins. She has a DIY toilet, a four-burner stove, and a lounge area comfortable enough for a large group!

I’m sooo happy to know that she is no longer homeless. With all the setbacks she has had since a child, she pulled through and landed on her feet. Battling depression starting from childhood, toxic environments to homelessness for 10 years….whew! And she’s still standing!💪🏾 She is a warrior and formidable. ❤❤❤

She was depressed ,, yet was it not for her to go to a woman's shelter because she had a vehicle OR she chooses to live homelessness? Wouldnt the shelter assist her with employment? She had gas to travel also so she would have had gas to travel to work . "Just saying "

vanessa is so fly! this girl got her van for 1300 dollars because her phone refused to call the guy. then she built out her van herself with 3 closet spaces, seating for 8 and a toilet. and now we get to watch her van tour as she sprawls out on her love seat, enjoying her scented candle whilst telling us about how she cans in her van! unbelievable. she is so inspiring

@@izagdlife That won't bother you if you trade with a professional like *Mr Gary Mason Brooks* my consultant. I found him on a CNBC interview where he was featured and reached out to him afterwards. He has since provide entry and exit points on the securities I focus on. I basically follow his trade pattern and haven’t regretted doing so.

I do believe especially coming from a place in life where I too had to step back and ground myself with what's in front of me, what I have vs what I don't have. You begin to quite the mind and see life in it's purest form. Stress becomes less or gone Simplicity. Going within and to know oneself, one's mine, who you truly are not who people think you are or should be without all the added life toxcity, materialistic distraction. You belive, you be still, you trust in the higher power God, you renew your mind. God strengthen you, protects you, guide you and you become a warriors because you have went through thr valley and shawdow of death God staff comforted you through all your tribulation and inspite of your hardships you're still standing. You have no fear you see life as precious no matter how small your surroundings or less you have. You have what you do need. You may have not notice before but, now live in a big world that you can explore enjoying God creation with an even bigger mighty God by your side as he command HIS angels protection over you. That's living.

I noticed that also. It could just be an enlarged thyroid gland/goiter, but I would like to know she sees a doctor to confirm the underlying cause is benign and make sure everything is okay with her thyroid.

I was sitting here totally sad with not having a place to call mines and this video showed up on my news feed. I’ve been homeless majority of my life, including when I was a child living with my mother and siblings- I’m currently still homeless, but I have worked myself to the bone and hopefully in a few weeks I will be purchasing my van home- thank you for sharing this story because not every van lifer tells the ugly truth as to why they are van lifers. Homelessness is truly a problem even more so than ever that the government refuses to do anything about and I think having a van home can be the perfect solution- beautiful my spirit sister.🥰

Thank you for NOT chopping up her dialogue. Thought process is so important for pro’s and cons. I loved hearing her testimony and I’m moved by her Faith and joy! I love her color scheme. The large plant is something you never see in a van, but it made an efficient divider for a little privacy. I’ll definitely subscribe to her. I really appreciate her story & hearing more from people that moved into a van out of necessity as opposed to just curiosity-showing the full spectrum of tiny living & van life! 💗 It also reinforces the fact that van life/tiny living really reflects the priorities of the individual-3 closets & a foldable bed isn’t something I’ve ever seen before. I am really loving Vanessa attitude her personality is so engaging. I love the fact that she loves thrifting as I do as well but mostly she was determined to make Treasure into a home and it’s a beautiful one at that. I owned that make for a transportation business but it was a Club 350, meaning, it ad comfortable seats and carpet. If Vanessa keeps the maintenance up, it will last her for years. I drove my van 70 miles, 6 days a week, for 18 years and sold it for K2. Same motor, and the same transmission. Continue to be blessed.

Awesome!!!!! Vanessa, my family and I were homeless from Jan 02,2022 till June 25th, 2022 when my husband fell at least 8 ft down to his pavement below. He had to have emergency brain surgery to the speech center of his brain and he is still in the hospital now. Great news is me and our kids are now renting a brand new house never rented before.

I come from a similar background (having left “home” at 14 years old with my then 10 year old brother in tow cos I was scared they’d kill him).. you and I are warriors, powerhouses and survivors. We’re awesome people, far as Souls go, however imperfect. You know Vanessa… Victor Hugo once said “Suffering makes Angels out of mere mortals” and he was right. My channel bio says (keep reading): "I am a geologist and marine biogeochemist (earth & life science) from a prosperous egalitarian country (the Netherlands). At the end of 2004, I moved to England. That was only supposed to have been for a few years. I’ve previously lived in the US (Florida). Among other things, I've served as board member for the Environmental Chemistry (and Toxicology) Section of the Royal Netherlands Chemical Society, member of board and committees for a foundation for women in science and technology, and as associate editor for the US-based Geochemical Society. I've published books about the new eugenics (bioethics) and about otherisation, written about violence against women and children as well as about science & technology. I know a bit about rehabbing wild birds. I went to university a little later in life; I used to work in tourism & hospitality in Amsterdam. I'm a life-long feminist, and have a bit of retail in my background as well as legal experience." I've been homeless, in a country that wasn't my own. I never saw it coming.
