You may want to check out Bubba Roundtree Outdoors channel. He has some amazing long range (65 yards) buckshot groups with the MG-42 and TPS wads using powders such as Blue Dot, Steel and Longshot. No pipe tape necessary.

Yes I did. I got it to about 2’ spread at 30 yd With a cylinder bore. That’s what I wanted. I tried it in my BPS that has a undertaker turkey choke in it. That was about 8” at 30 yd. Tried it in my Mossberg with a Deerslayer rifled barrel. Not even one pallet on a 2 ft.² at 30 yards

"Not too many people hunt with buckshot" I Have harvested 10 bucks with 11 shells in 3 states in 5 years. Guess you don't travel around much. Anybody else have buckshot stories? The only time I use a rifle is when hunting over larger fields. Can't beat buckshot for tight cover hunting especially when they are spooked.

I live in Pennsylvania we’re not allowed to use buckshot ….that’s what I meant by that statement
