I made this recipe today for the 4th of July. OMG! It's so good and the filling literally stands up! No leaking or oozing anywhere! This is the best blueberry pie I've ever made, seriously. Thanks for the tip on adding tapioca. :-)

I am an experienced cook and have cooked for decades this is hands down one of the best blueberry pie recipe I’ve cooked and enjoyed. Mashing some of the blueberries, tapioca for thickening and then add the more fresh blueberries! Oh my! The consistency is over the top! Thanks for sharing! Just made this. Had to make a couple of substitutions- used frozen blueberries and tapioca flour. Still came out really great. I will definitely make again, next time I would probably omit the lemon zest, not because it’s not delicious, but the blueberry pie from my childhood didn’t have that lemony kick. Overall fantastic! Thank you!

Thank you for this video. First time baking a pie and it could not have gone better. Recipe was perfect. I added cornstarch to thicken instead of tapioca. Would definitely be checking out more of your videos.

Hi! Many thanks for the recipe! I made the pie (with a pre-made crust pastry). The filling was really good and thick like in the video. everyone liked it! I think it would be really good with chantilly as well. :)
