a note on the power of the shell, i've heard that high brass in more powerful but 1 1/4 oz load at 1300fps is 1 1/4 oz at 1300fps regardless of brass length. I don't thing brass length really matters these days. just grab the box with the highest shot weight and FPS

I usd a socket wrench for rall crimper works great. Just put a bolt in sid and round off and put it in side the socket and rall crimp away.

I didn't hear you mention the weight of the shot load in the original shell or in the finished load. That could be very Dangerous. The Powder Charge and Wad are designed for a Specific Weight of Shot. If you exceed the original Shot Charge Weight you will exceed the Designed Pressure Level. Normal Shot Shell Pressures are in the 9500 to 10500 pound range on most Factory Loads if you get in the 12000 to 13000 pound range Barrels and Actions sometimes come apart in a very Nasty way.

I use a bottle cap with a razor blade fitted inside to cut the crip off at just the tip. (Very clean and precice) instead if wax i use Hot glue, just empty the shell and fill it back up with layers of hot glue and shot, in-between layers you want to apply slight pressure making sure to be as quick as possible so the hot glue coats all/most of the shot. When you get to the top get yourself an oiled surface (I use a cool coin) and while the glue is hot press it against the shell firmly (this makes a smooth and uniform finish). These shells are extremely accurate and devastating. Try not to overload the shell. Weight em before n after. 💪

I have a Lee 7/8oz mold that does pretty well when turning trap loads into something more fun.. slugs. Also have the 00 buck mold from Lee but I cant seem to fit but 6 pellets in a shell. Maybe I need to tinker with the top of the wad petals to fit more.

Dude thats a poor job,get yourself a dremel and drill in a whole on the top end,so you dont damage the outer End,then you shut add gunpowder,then big steelballs.and seal it with hotglue...that would be buckshot...🤔
