This Easy Homemade Frozen Lemonade is made with fresh-squeezed lemon juice, zest, ice, and a bit of honey, sugar, or stevia. Quickly blend together this healthy summer drink to enjoy poolside, at a picnic, or as a fun treat for the kids.

INGREDIENTS:
½ cup lemon juice about 4 lemons, freshly squeezed
1 Tbsp. lemon zest
⅓ cup honey agave nectar, or stevia*
3 ½ - 4 cups ice
½ cup water
INSTRUCTIONS:
Zest two of the lemons before juicing to get 1 tablespoon of lemon zest.
Add lemon juice, zest, honey, 3 1/2 cups of ice, and 1/2 cup of water to a high-speed blender, such as a Vitamix.
Blend ingredients on medium for 1-2 minutes, or until completely smooth.
Add more ice if you would like it thicker or additional water if you would like it smoother.
Serve frozen lemonade in a mason jar with a straw and a lemon slice. Enjoy!
RECIPE NOTES:
Use 1-2 teaspoons of stevia liquid extract in place of the honey for a low-carb frozen lemonade with 3 carbs/serving and only 8 calories.
Substitute agave nectar or pure maple syrup for the honey if you are vegan.
Feel free to switch out the lemons for limes to make frozen limeade.
