Homemade Lavender Skin Salve

Lavender is the holy grail of stress relief. Infuse the petals in oil to aid in headaches, anxiety, and better sleep but also to heal irritated skin or even repel mosquitos.
Me and @laja have a massive plant of lavender which is absolute heaven for pollinators and healing properties.
STEP BY STEP:
- hang dry your fresh lavender for about 5-7 days
- infuse your favourite oil with dry lavender for 30 days (I used olive oil)
- In the top part of a double boiler, add 1 cup of your lavender oil and roughly 3 x tbsp soy wax or bees wax. You can also add any essential oil but I prefer to keep it as natural as possible.
- Add water to the bottom section of the double boiler so you can melt but not burn the mixture.
- While still hot, carefully pour the mix in your containers and leave it to cool down until completely cold.
- Apply a thin layer to your skin and enjoy the benefits of this incredible skin salve 🙏🏻

@@poojapandey-oe1ydyou can Take any oil.generally you take good Olivenöl. The oil can also bei almondoil which ist good for the Skin. Oliveoil through has a slight smell not everyone Likes.😊

I like this video because you used essential oil extract using lavender and then you mixed it with wax. What kind of wax did you use? I normally use wax to create candles with really strong scents. And I also grab sometimes the petals of the flowers of the essential oil I’m using with the candle I’m making, and I pour some petals inside the candle mold in order to always have petals covering all the candle. This way, the perfume that comes out of your candle, is strong enough to create a lovely odor in your room.
