Preserving strawberries is a priority on my homestead right now. I make strawberry and other berry jams without cooking and store it in a cool place. They come out so delicious!
This video is about the old fashioned jam without pectin.

THANK UUUU FOR SHARING… I am 60 and JUSTTT made my first patch of strawberry jam thanks to YOUUUU … had an abundance of strawberries from a friend NOW I KNOWWW I CAN DO THIS. I see FUTURE JAMS BEFORE ME … only cost was sugar ( my friend has a fresh veggies / fruits food pantry and always gifting me abundance of bounty to give to others I know in need) and PATIENCE… MOREEEE IMPORTANTLY I ENJOYED THE STORY OF THE WALLS OF Jericho come tumbling down and the way you shared it … BLESSINGS PS ( I know what I will be gifting in my near future) ❤

Don't know what I enjoyed more the recipe or that you mentioned the walls of Jericho. Def staying subscribed 🥰 Also do you think this same can be applied to other berries or fruits such as cherry or apple?

Not sure about other fruit, but defined will work with other berries. I will be making apple jam later in the season. Stay tuned.

lemon juice is pectin !!!! it has a high concentration
