Liked your video on the tortilla chips. What I usually do when I need to coat food is I'll put ribs, potato wedges or whatever else into a large zip lock bag, add a little oil and the seasonings then toss and turn the food in the bag. I get a nice even coating without a mess. With ribs, chicken strips, etc you can add the barbecue sauce into the bag and toss around then dump onto a baking sheet or pan. I've never done chips but will do some now. Note: if you don't crowd the chips and cook in batches you might not need to check them so often. The adding of taco season was a great idea. Thanks for the air fryer technique.

I HATE corn tortillas but I LOVE tortilla chips. I did not know tortilla chips were made from corn tortillas. This excites me because I can make use of loads of corn tortillas. I just bought an air fryer so I’m good to go! Thank you for info.

I am so excited, not only because you sound excited, but also because I found your recipe This definately gave me a great idea! I can make toastada shells this way! My favorite dip for tortilla chips, is guacamole, either to dip the chips into, on my tachos, or, to put on as a topping with nachos. I have the Cosori air fryer, SMART version. Is this the one you have? Finally, that when it comes to making something like this, because I'm blind, I'm a perfectionist. So in addition to shaking the basket numerous times, as well as tossing the chips numerous times, my air fryer is hooked up to my EchoDOT and my Apple iPhone, both of which are set up to talk! Thanks again for the recipe!

I'm not sure the tongs are necessary, just a snap of the wrist should jumble things up enough. This is a fun activity for the kids and it gets them off the phone/pad/etc..

No no no, fry up a little oil in a pan and add a little onion to flavor the oil.Then coat each tortilla with a basting brush both sides with oil BEFORE you cut them and then cut them and stick them in the air fryer. 20 minutes seems kinda long!

I don’t understand, I have a Ninja air fryer but the oven is so much better for tortilla chips. Your oven at 320 for 10 minutes, can make 2 cookie sheets full.

Why don't you put oil on the tortillas first with a brush, season, and then cut the tortillas? Have you already tried? They look delicious 😋
