A friend taught me to soak the diced onion in cold water, rinse a couple of times, then put in dishes where one may need raw onion. It takes away some of the bite and makes it easier to digest. Before that I wasn't able to eat raw onion because it made me feel sick and bloated. I find this method helpful, if someone else can use it, there it is. =)

I usually make my tuna with grated carrot, mayo, corn and of course jalapeños! Normally over a tostada with Tapatío hot sauce. Yum! Especially cause it's been so hot lately!
