I'm so excited to bring you guys along the journey with us and share all the things we've been working on the house. On today's episode we go to our first home depot trip of many lol get a new christmas tree (which I'm so excited to share), I also share a home depot haul and new toy we got to help us with the leaves (spoiler alert we ended up not liking it and returning).

1. If you're looking for flowers out of season call the nurseries in your area. Find the one that will teach you how to plant it. That will be super helpful while you're learning to garden and landscape 2. White paint is just like makeup. The undertones need to match or compliment the color scheme in the room.

Exiting. If I can suggest if Eric is getting a leaf blower better to get the gas one than the ones with the batteries. If you have allot of property the batteries will run out before you are finished.

You know you are an adult now, when a massive Home Depot trip is exciting! lol. Can’t wait to see the progress! And there are so many shades of white!! Also, those storage cabinets in the garage are totally a lifesaver, they just need a deep clean! 😊

A leaf blower is definitely way easier and more efficient. We have a ton of leaves every fall and a leaf blower is the way to go.

Hi Guys , I'm laughing at Eric's..tell them how much was the tree Hunny comment lol ..Happy wife Happy life !!! Have Eric to get the leaf blower that's also a vaccume it makes the leaves into mulch and makes the job easier it come with a bag to collect the mulch. This series is gonna be fun .❤ love you guys

My #1 recommendation when starting Reno’s is to get the Home Depot credit card you might as well get points for all these purchases we have all year this is just the beginning! And we also got the same leaf thing but ended going back to get a gas leaf blower bc it’s so fast and last a while on! Loving this series already ❤

You guys are so cute! Lol A couple of homeowners tips to help make things easier is you can buy a lawnmower that has a mulcher on it & as you mow the grass or go just over the leaves it cuts them up into fine pieces (mulching) so you don’t see them & it helps the yard too 😊Push mowers & riding mowers come with them. We use ours & my husband loves it 😊 Lastly if you can’t find vent covers for the sizes you have you can always spray paint them the color you want, we’ve also done that & they look like new! 😊

With the Christmas tree debate, I have to say, they were both right. They didn’t really need it right now with the move BUT, big but, it DID sell out everywhereeee in Oct/early Nov, so it was the right time to get it. Their future selves will thank them 😁

Personally I see it like an investment lol it’s a tree I’ll have forever and we cont have to get extra lights, it also saves so much time than a regular tree when putting it up and taking it down, sooo obsessed with it! ❤

Eric is taking care of the landscape and making wifey happy with an EXPENSIVE artificial tree!🤣. You guys were funny! I get that it's a saying, but be careful with that "happy wife, happy life". Eric gets to be happy too, and you will both need to make so many compromises over the years. Just don't always fall back on that in order to get your way. Your new house is beautiful and you'll be really happy when all the renovations are done. Actually I guess now that it's December you're already living in the house. Congratulations!

I loved shopping for my home when I first got it, now it’s like…WHY, NOW WHAT!!! And, it’s only going on 2 years😩😩 Still wouldn’t change it for anything😅 But, that “TT” tree, is sooooo over hyped!!
