The lids on the sea salt and kosher salt fit on a regular mouth mason jar. I love to keep cinnamon sugar in a jar and use the lid!

You can still use traps. Cut a hole in a plastic shoe box, bait and set trap in the back further from the hole at the end of the box. Put the lid on.

The best thing for mice we e found is a big bucket of mouse bait from Tractor Supply. As long as you place them out of reach of pets and children, you will not see a mouse.

Glaze spam or canned ham with the Thai chili sauce. It makes a great glaze for chicken and fish, especially salmon, too. I also like to brown tofu, steam some veggies for on ramen or a rice bowl and finish it with the chili sauce.

Those denture cleaners work well in your toilet as well. I usually throw 2 or 3 in the one toilet that doesnt get used a lot and they really help. Love your dt hauls. TFS

Love the halls. Question though, you were talking about the coconut oil and said the smaller was good to use up before going bad.....? Confused, coconut oil is shelf stable and had a long life even after opening.

My mom had a great mustard recipe...roll short ribs in mustand (cover well) and then roll in a mixture of flour, salt, and pepper. Bake on baking sheet. Tastes amazing!

I have been hitting the dollar aisle at my local Dollar General... not as good for food but have been getting awesome cleaning, hygiene, and first aid items there at better prices than the dollar tree.

That's a great haul for $35 Jinne, a good mixture of items. Sweet Chilli Sauce is great for Sticky Wings or Ribs, or a dip on it's own, or mix some in Mayonnaise for dip. Yumz. TFS HC, take care & keep really busy everyone. ❤🙂🐶

Always love your Dollar Tree hauls. Would appreciate it if you mention what area of the store you find some of the more uncommon items. They seem to be better lately, but sometimes where they stock things makes no sense. I was thinking about things like the mini superglues.

Just wanted to let you know we were in a Dollar Tree in another town and finally found the 2.5 gal. zip bags. Yay! They also had the energizer batteries, but they were $5 for a 4-pack.

Trust me, you want the longest lasting batteries and pay the price. I have Duracell that have an expiry date of 2031. Yes, they are pricier, but I have had the same ones in my flashlight for a year.

I haven't seen that brand of salt in the cylinder container, but I will be looking for it. The container can be re-used and I like that kind of DT buy - I call it a 2-fer. You get two useful products for $1.25. You got a lot of items for $35! TFS, Jinne!

Things here in Canada are getting super expensive. I usually spend $50/month at Dollarama for preps, $30 now. No Frills grocery store usually $200/month now $150/month because prices have risen so much. I bought for the month and it was basically to add to mý stored preps that you recommend. It's just so stressful

My best friend and I camped in London, Ontario this spring and we love Dollarama!😆We shopped at 4 different ones and found so many neat things including Canadian souvenirs for gifts. Even though things are expensive, I think about how expensive they can get and try to do as much as I can while prices are not simply out of reach! Best to you!🙏🏿

I know what you mean by EXPENCSIVE I use to get $ 200.00 @ Walmart and would fill a shopping cart and a little over that was over a year ago ,now you lucky to get half a shopping cart, and No-frills the same thing, thanks to Jennie going to our Dollar store for some things also. 😉

Hi Jinne, I've been busy this week too. Tomorrow I'm going back to town for a doctor's appointment. While I'm in town I'm going to go to Aldi for more water. Our Aldi has gallon jugs that are clear, rather than opaque. And water is on sale at one of our grocery stores so I'll be going there as well. I've been filling my freezers this week. I have tons of meat that I've canned so this might not be some of the meats final resting place, but I'm good to go until cooler weather comes. Fall and winter I'll be canning more homemade soups and chili. Plus I have some extra potatoes for canning as well. I can potatoes in quart jars. I have over 70 quarts already but I like having them on hand for mashed potatoes and buttered parsley potatoes. And they are good for practically instantaneous potato salad.

We have 6 cats! My Miss Trudy caught ALL of our mice and then moved on to the neighbors next door! (and we live in the country! lots of mice!) I don't remember if it was your channel or not - but I looked at my Dollar Tree today and found ORGANIC chicken broth! They only 2 - so I bought them!

We have over 20 cats. Some are indoor only, some indoor and outdoor, and some refuse to come inside. I'm convinced that quite a few of them have been trained by John Wick. They're absolute assassins!

Then we also went to Ollie's for a couple of heavy duty shelf units to organize our back bedroom into a pantry. Little by little, we're getting everything done. Will be planting this weekend, some elderberry & blueberry bushes, then a small fall potato crop & some peas & beans & beets. Blessings from NW Florida!

I went to a doctors appt today and thought I’d share what I was told. My doctor told me that they were sent lists from FDA about severe medication shortages from many different pharmaceutical companies. All types of medications on this list. Everyone should check with their doctors to make sure they will be able to get their needed medications.

Denture cleaner tablets are only to be used for dentures not for retainers not for partials, not to be put down your toilet tank.

Any reason you'd recommend against? My dentist specifically instructed me to clean my mouthguard with denture cleaner and it is made of the same material as retainers.

I had to laugh when you said, "You can't have too many beans!" I just got finished soaking, cooking and dehydrating 8 lbs of beans to make instant beans. For long term usage where water and fuel might be limited, I'm going to be prepared! (It's just me here so I don't have to prepare for a family!)

To remove sharpie ink off your lids just mark across it with a sharpie again and wipe it off with a paper towel. It works! 👍👍

Thanks Jinnie, I always take notes when you do your videos. The Dollar Tree closest to us had more sparse shelves this week, even the aisle with the candy, chips and soda seemed picked over. The only boxed dairy milk was 1% and very few of those, but lots of the plant based milks like oat and almond milk. Noticed a lot more dented cans, also watch the best by dates too, some are now shorter. The thrift stores also carry the reader eyeglasses and repair kits and also have lots of prescription glasses too for only a couple of dollars. You might be able to find glasses that match your prescription as an emergency backup. If we travel, we always have the repair kits packed with our toiletries too. We had an exterminator tell us to check around the outside of your house, if there are air or exhaust vents especially down low close to the ground, mice can come in that way. He showed us how to put just a small grid type fencing (often called hardware cloth) and secure well over the end of the exit and it still allows air circulation but too small for the mice to slip through. If people want to try to do holiday gatherings this year such as for Halloween, Thanksgiving or Christmas, getting the paper plates, bowls and utensils in certain colors would be good to get now before they maybe are in shorter supply around that holiday time. Last year when we were invited to a gathering around Christmas the red or green party supplies like plates, bowls or utentsils were sold out early, and even white ones too and not restocked in time for that holiday. Seemed they ran short and didn't restock until well after the first of the year.

Denture cleaners remove stains from toilet bowls, btw. I went and loaded up more utensils, tarps, markers, scissors oxycleaner, carpet squared ad many things from Dollar Tree today

I love that buy beans so often. I don’t know if your family likes them, but we really do. I make at least one batch of dry beans every week because they are inexpensive, can be flavored in so many ways, and are so healthy for you! This week I made Greek flavored red lentils that I’m serving on brown rice, so good!! Next week, I will make three bean chili (pinto, kidney & black beans) which is my hubby’s favorite ever since I added canned chipotles in adobo to my recipe. Adds that smoky depth of flavor! I pull the pepper out after cooking, just like you do with bay leaves… store what you eat and eat what you store, right Jinny?🥰

I live in Southern California. The dollar tree stores here really don't have hardly any food. No cans except for some pineapple. No pasta no juice, nothing but plastic and cleaning supplies. My sister went to the ones in San Diego and saw the same thing. Hardly any food products.

I'm watching this late. I've been busy starting my fall garden. I use the sweet Chile sauce by adding a couple spoonfuls of it mixed with a couple spoonfuls of peanut butter to make a dipping sauce for spring rolls or lumpia. It's delicious 😊
