Born in Bluefield WVA, lived in Bluefield VA, We left there when I was 12 years old, and I always loved to go back to visit. It was a wonderful place for a child to grow up. I have lived in the Washington DC area since 1983, and hate every day of it. Looking forward to retirement.

I’m not sure when you retire but I do hope you at least get the chance if it’s in your cards to go back home to Bluefield I live out your retirement because truly is an awesome place to live or at least I think it is even though it’s probably not as economically strong as other areas but there again what area is economically strong anymore

I'm investigating moving to Bluefield one day. It's close to some family living in VA, but it's WV. I have no interest moving to VA because it's a commwealth like KY. West Virginia is beautiful!!!

@@nancywatkins2622 have you ever been to Bluefiwld , WV ? I have , nothing there.

@davidjanson7982 , that's something I like about it. Do you live there? I have family in virginia. I do not want to live in Virginia because it's a commonwealth state, like Kentucky. Being a commonwealth comes with its problems

My mother was born in Bluefield WV but they lived in Bluefield Va. My mother's father was from, Pocahontas. Last name of, Dye. My grandmother was from, Goodwin's Ferry Virginia on New River. It doesn't exist anymore. Her parents were from, McCoy Virginia, which is named after my fifth great grandfather, Richard McCoy. Mama died in Florida where she had lived since they moved there when she was a child and two days ago I took her ashes to Bluefield so she could be buried with her parents. She always considered it her home. Beautiful place and wonderful people.

A lot of holes in the desert, and a lot of problems are buried in those holes. But you gotta do it right. I mean, you gotta have the hole already dug before you show up with a package in the trunk. Otherwise, you're talking about a half-hour to forty-five minutes worth of digging.
