So so so happy to see Sue on homeworthy. We used to be neighbours when I was a student in 2003. I was always so fascinated by her style and personality. Still have one of her cookbooks she gave when I moved out of the home we rented. What a lovely surprise to see her in full glory ❤❤❤❤❤

I know that this environment isn’t everybody’s cup of tea, but personally I wouldn’t want to fit into someone else’s mold either. I think the most significant takeaway from this visit is one of self-empowerment and to live one’s life with dignity and joy.

Honestly, I find far more inspiration from unique homes like this than from rich designer homes. It doesn’t mean you need to have the same style, but maybe just little ideas that you could do with other colors, combinations, or materials.

This is what I'm here for. Thank you for featuring Sue after so many boring manicured homes. You have had a lot of great homes, but you also have homes where mixing patterns means a demure blue stripe and a blue flower print. More wacky homes and more of those ancient British piles encrusted with linenfold panels and Chinoiserie (sp??) furniture.

Homeworthy, I've been a subscriber and LOVE watching your videos. I am so appreciative of the very wide net you throw covering so many tastes and approaches to creating a home. But THIS episode was like therapy. Like coming home. I identified with so much of who she is and what she said and what she has experienced. I actually remember asking my mother to please not buy more beige clothing. I remember the day....I think I was about five or six ...when I was coloring in my Barbie coloring book (early 1960s) and "discovered" three of my favorite colors: magenta, chartreuse, and deep turquoise. They still are along with red, rust and purple. When describing my house, I say it's like a crayon box exploded. But Sue takes it to a whole new level, bless her! I stumbled upon her work while in Pinterest and created a Sue Kreitzman board, but never knew much about her until today. THANK YOU!!!

I never knew there were people like me until KZfaq! I am turning 70 years soon. I have struggled most of my life to understand myself. Why I I have this need to be surrounded by color and art. After divorcing 23 years ago, I bought a house and reminded myself I could paint it any color I choose! I did just that! Thank you Sue, for allowing me to see into your world. I love this young lady. She as well as her home remind me of a more joyful Evillene from “The Wiz”. I’m not a maximalist (or even a minimalist) and don’t like the color red but I LOVE how passionate she is for color and in all of her art, decor, furniture, clothing and other tchotchkes.
