Thanks for your video. I have a 2005 Acura TL and both the clock & calendar have been wonky. This problem has been going on for about 1.5 years. At first Honda claimed they have never heard of this problem. Meanwhile, local dealers stated they had many calls on this problem. After calling Honda numerous times they finally admitted there was a problem and my case was escalated. After calling them again a few weeks later, they said it was a satellite problem. They had switched satellites and information for the clock & calendar were off line. A couple weeks ago I noticed the clock adjusted itself to within a minute of the correct time. The calendar however is still out of service.

Today August 17, 2022 I had a random time and I tried your method a few minutes ago. Fingers crossed it may have worked. I turned the car off twice and the time stayed current 🤷🏽‍♀️ Note: Mine was an hour ahead since January 2022 until this morning there was a random time. omg thank you thank you last week i simply went to acura for my 07 mdx (had to get a new alternator) then last wednesday morning as i was about to leave for work that's when i saw the time was way off so im like: i got 5 mins to spare i did everything you did i left the settings alone from when i first bought the car i never touched that till last week but i didn't do anything i tried it 2 more times then that's when i started losing my mind im like COME ON MAN i thought since youtube is always great help i could get help for this too, but sadly no thought it was just me but no glad to know im not the only one you saved me a call i was about to call them too right now but that's crazy august you say? that's like 6 months away ahh oh well all we can all do (acura/honda owners) is wait and hope it goes back to normal...i kinda fixed it it's off by 30-40 mins vs 3 hrs haha i had some neighbors in my vehicle on friday they were like: WOW 1AM HOW WHEN ALL WE DID WAS...im like calm down it's a glitch or something i'll fix it on sunday but nope !!

Hey there thank you so much for this video I like everyone else thought I was crazy or the car had an issue I was getting ready to disconnect the battery to see if it helped because my clock has been an hour late since January. At least I know what’s going on now and I just have to have patience I guess. Thank you!! Mine is Acura 2008 and the clock stays behind 1hour after DST. I tried to change to no avail and thought some memory chip was corrupted, well, old car (had to unplug my bluetooth module because it drained the battery before).

Thank you for this video. It explains a lot. What would happen if the battery were to be disconnected and reconnected? This would, it seems, force the clock to reset, perhaps using its GPS signal, to the correct time. If you try this, be sure you have the correct radio and navi codes to put in to get the system to operate again.

I just updated my navigation disk. It was the latest version. The clock problem was fixed. If you buy the disc directly from Acura online it’ll run you about $79 plus it updated all the maps.

I just went through this I could understand how my clock back an hour all of a sudden, I had to have an oil change on Saturday and I asked the guy from Haddad to help me fix my clock because my father had lost a manual and it really was no really good instructions online. But it is August and nothing changed but I did change the clock time

Currently it's Aug 05, 2022 and nothing has changed. Had zero issues before but just changed the battery yesterday so everything reset. I have an 07 Accord EX and my clock is 2 hrs behind, easy to figure out but it wasn't far off before, maybe about 10 minutes where as before 2022 it wasn't more than about a lose of 1-3 minutes per year and in the course of a few months it lost 8-10 minutes and my battery messed up as well as around early January it reset the software for the vav. I'm trying a software update to see if that fixes the issues that have sprung up. Ran great before this and suddenly change the battery and it's acting like it's been run hard and put away wet. I also have 172,000 miles and have been told I need a valve adjustment even when it was running just fine.

I'm in EST and when daylight savings time changed mine did not and I know it used to do it automatically. It will be a fix pushed through the cloud to update our vehicles then.

what i did is to pull the battery and then see what clock set at then i wait till that time pull battery and wait till all drained and put back and time matches or you can take out the back up fuse

I guess it affects 2005 as well. My wife has a 05 MDX, it is an hour behind. I have an 07 MDX and it is also an hour behind. Hope the August fix comes out.

Please note that Honda ServiceNews article on this problem states that: "On or after August 17, 2022, when the system's internal calendar recalibrates, the GPS time signal becomes valid again. The clock will show the correct GPS time but most likely BE OFF BY 1 HOUR because the system's internal calendar interprets the daylight saving time (DST) change incorrectly." The article recommends after August 17, 2022 the owner sets the "Auto Daylight Saving" function to "OFF" and adjusts the DST (time) manually. Keep your fingers crossed that the car allows you to do that!!!

I have a 2010 honda odyssey touring and the dash clock way off and so is navigation clock

I have the same problem on my '08 Acura RL . I fixed mine by disconnecting the negative battery cable for an hour, around 12 o'clock. I reattached the battery cable at 1 o'clock because that's where the time on the Acura clock resets at. It's an easy fix. You'll have to re-enter your radio code and Navi code if you have Navi. (Note: you have to wait until exactly 1 o'clock in real time to reconnect the battery cable. Then you'll be good to go 👍🏻)

Indeed, it was changed in August, only that the calendar tells me today, September 21, which is February 5, 2003...

The U.S. Navigation Satellite Data Format has the WMRO 1024 Issue (for years) since 1990s (thank DoD). This has caused numerous issues with countless GPS receivers and GPS system (including 911-services)

Screw it. Not waiting to Aug 2022. I need clock to work. Getting rid of car. Though I liked my 2010 CRV and would like to buy a new one but Honda has changed the motor from a 2.5L to a 1.5L with a turbo charger. And turbo charged engines do not last. So it looks like I am going to buy a 2022 Toyota Rav 4.

My clock had been reading 1:00 since the beginning of the year. The time finally came back on August 16, 2022, however the time was one hour off because the date displayed was December 31 which wouldn't account for daylight savings time that we are in now. So I had to go into the calendar, and correct the date.

November 2022 and mine did not fix itself. Guess I’ll have to go to dealership.

By the way, the calendar or option to change the date no longer appears... it's the same as with the time
