Hi Jim ... well I had done about 28 000 problem free miles on the Tenere when they eventually released the AT. At the start of my first long AT trip I was thinking of how i was going to make a sport tourer out of the Tenere but by the time I returned i knew the AT was a better bike in all areas for adventure riding. An FJR would be perfect for sport touring rather than the S10.

Got it. Funny, I was thinking that the FJR would be outstanding for a sport tourer too. Had a Concours and it was really fast but not a good traveler. To top heavy. Thanks for the response.
