Good to see you back on the WWW. My mother stay in Beaufort so every time I visit we spend some time in the park also. Looks a bit more green than earlier this year. Love the Karoo, where you can see tomorrow coming in the distance. Looking forward to your next videos.

Not at all, just a side step for some content. Also, my wife likes 4 wheels more than 2 as of late. Still going to do interesting bike trips.

Hoe lank is daai sagte sand gedeelte op die D707 pad?
@ianlevy8765 Жыл бұрын
Hi Gerhard. Dis n paar jaare terug dat ons die 707 laas gery het en dit was nie te erg nie. Ek verstaan daar is nou twee gedeeltes met die sagte sand. Vanaf Betta se kant suid is dit so 300m lank en weer so 3km verder vir so 100m. Die gehuim is vroeg aankom daar dan is die sand koud en stevig. Hou die spoed op en moenie momentum verloor nie. Oh, en onthou die GoPro video. Mooi ry. Ian

I chuckled when I saw the bike drop incident...immediately concluded you are just not spending enough time on the bike. Fire up those cameras and shake the rust off. Good to see you again, cheers!

Hi, do you maybe have GPS tracks of your route or parts of it pls?
@ianlevy87653 жыл бұрын
Hi Johan, unfortunately I do not have any GPS tracks of any of the trips we have done, infact, you are the first person to ask about them, so I must look into saving them in the future. If you are interested in more detailed rides then log onto Wilddogs.za.net - the best Adventure MC forum in SA. Cheers Ian

@@ianlevy8765 thanks. Asking because hopefully in the next couple of years I'll be able to do similar trip. Born in SA but stayed a few years in SWA as a child and would love to take the back roads like you did and visit a few places we learned about in school and read about in stories and got mentioned in Spies en Plessis. Will deffo register with that forum. If you ever planning a trip to Scotland let me know I'll show you some interesting roads. Just a bit cooler than this trip.

Nice video BUT as an ex.South African, I understand going from Colesberg to Uppington - but a map would put it into perspective to those that do not understand the distances, heat and desolation involved. BTW: Here (only in Afrikaans) is a video of Putsonderwater: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/o56FgcSI1tjdcZc.html&ab_channel=atgerber1 Greetings from Patagonia.

Not bad man! But.. make please the sound of your videos into one level. It's just extremely hard to listen. Your voice is too quiet, then your music like bullets trying kill my ears.. Especially in headphones.

Hi Johan. It has been a crazy two years indeed, last year was reduced to a one-man ride after my riding buddy got CV. We are right in the middle of planning a Namibia ride and I must do better drone work so looking forward to that. Still plenty to see there like Alex Bay border crossing.

Hi Ian! Your videos always make me dream of places you've been. Nature there in Africa is naturally preserved and so beautiful. You have a such good sense for all that beauty and silence around. It so nice to disturb that silence with your Akrapovic and to enjoy it in the lodges...with your pool-crashing friends ;)) Good that you are sharing with us all this. Thanks a lot!!! Keep the spirit up and keep sharing! Cheers! Ivo
