If you have never seen a street cub. These bike are the most built motorcycle/scooters on the planet. There is over 1 million of these. You will find these primarily in Asia. Honda calls them cubs, but once they are modified they take on the name "street cub". I found out about the mods I'm doing on my trips to Thailand. They really don't exist like this in the states. Here is my attempt at it in a build series.
In episode 3 of the Honda street cub build series we have changes our mind on the tire size and went with a larger rear tire. Instead of the 120-60-17 we changed over to a 150-60-17 tire. We will use the 120 for the front wheel.

Just stumbled upon this build and it's super cool! I think I liked the beefy but still nimble look of the narrower rear tire combo. Either way this thing is sick can't wait to watch the rest!

For the head light instead of cutting into the handlebars make a bracket to space out the head light and then build a trim ring to finish it out . Just thought i might throw in a suggestion really digging the build man keep it going

I am about to start a dry build here in Japan, I have bought some complete wheels form Vietnam, rims measure 50mm on the inside parallel section, before they flare out. Do you think 100/90-17 will fit rear and 90/80-17 front, I was thinking pirelli angle city's. Any advice would be appreciated.

Nice job!! I want to do the same rim sizes on my 82 C70. Are the spokes the same size as the stock ones? I have a set of stock size chrome spokes to use and was hoping i could use them.

if you want to widen the fender easier then use a heat gun just to make the metal less solid and yet manageable enough to shape. just a tip ;) from philippines

Where did you get those rims with the hubs? I bought a set of excel rims that I'm about to mail off to get some spokes/nipples made.

Victor Valle oooo man. It took me a second trip to Thailand to find the spokes and nipples. I looked for a year online for them, no luck . I found them in Thailand in seriously like 10 min. The hubs are stock, just opened the holes up for the spokes. I’ll get back to you on the spokes, I have to find the box. The wheels are Racing Boy, purchased in Malaysia .... much cheaper than excel.

The 140cc is wider than your 70cc. if the finished bike is going to have the larger engine, you should have started with installing the 140cc, as it will change some of your spacings.
