Funny enough, my favourite Spotify playlist is all old stuff 👍 I went up one tooth on the front sprocket to lower the revs on longer journeys. It's not by much, but it drops a few hundred RPM in top at 60mph.

In about 2001 I'd taken my DR125 out to herne bay to visit a mate... and thought it'd be a good idea to put a bigger carb jet in, maybe get it up to 70mph on thay home, pissed a load of petrol all over his driveway and headed home trying to keep up with another mates ford escort. Ran outta petrol on the thanet way and had to call my mum to rescue me with a jerry can...thank god for the trusty nokia 3310, otherwise it'd be long push home back into thanet. Still never hit 70mph, but never run out of petrol since 🤣

They were for me, the old day's were better in many ways. No speed cameras everywhere and sly speed vans hidden on spots. Less chance of damage to your bike with potholes, cheaper fuel and oil. The list is endless and you were not likely to get stabbed if you went out of a night. Punch up yes. My RS has just had a new chain and sprockets which it needed.. Ride on.👍

I can certainly relate to your comments in this video, Also we didn't have any money back in the day so lots of times we had to make do with what we had, and you have reminded me of the old telephone boxes where you had to push in the coins as the phone started beeping like mad.
