In this episode we begin to deal with a bent valve in the engine. Following the install of the engine into the frame, I began polishing the cylinder head covers and inadvertently caused serious damage to one of the exhaust valves.
As a consequence, I need to remove the bent valve and install a fresh one. To do this requires the full removal of the engine from the frame, breaking the cam chain, taking the cylinder head off, removing the cams and finally the valves.
Here, I complete the dismantling of the cylinder head. Valve lapping and reassembly in future videos.
