I own a Honda city MT and yaris vx cvt. Both are excellent cars. But I prefer Toyota for its comfort and ease of driving. CVT is super smooth. The suspension is better than Honda. The only thing which puts me off is the entertainment system lacking android auto and Apple car play. Regarding safety, no compromise.

Toyotas are cheaper to maintain. But since honda city is in the market for 22 years, you get OEM parts every where and at a price less than showroom. Over all, Honda city has an edge. But if you are looking for a CVT and want to keep the car for long and many Kms, Toyota cvts are more matured as Toyota has mastered the art of making reliable CVT transmission.

Comparison is not accurate. Missed to talk about many loaded futures in Yaris such as hill assist, front sensors, 7 air bags. You did not talk anything about safety. Safety is a big a aspect in any car. Please review end to end else it will be misleading...

One thing you have not mention is that the new BS 6 Honda Engine creates more noise than Toyota yarrish. The honda inside cabin noise is more than that of Toyota.

Would definitely buy City over Yaris because of overall cabinspace. Yaris looks small from exterior & it can compete with Vento or Rapid but no competition to City. Its stupid on part of Toyota to price it close to City.

Assalamoalaikm SOS Call... My budget is 30 lac and want top variant of Honda or Yaris or alswin. After listening dozens of reviews, I have decided to book top variant of yaris coz of its re-sale value. However, I couldn’t see bonnet after sitting in Yaris. Seat height is now an issue although I am 5.5 ft. Now I am confused wether to book it or not. Alswin is good but hesitant coz of being new in market whereas Honda price is too much. Some1 to rescue me, please

Yaris made a mistake of competing & Pricing it with City Toyota has never understood the Indian Market other than Innova & Fortuner. Most of their offerings have failed because of over pricing against low feature offerings liked by Indians. Achha hua discontinued ho gayi since it looked like a Vento & priced like a City. Indians are more smarter than brand Toyota thinks.
