Была такая-же проблема, НО замена пробки непомогла. Проблема обнаруженна, чуть левее есть масленный капан. под ним резновая прокладка в вохожа на цифру 8. сантиметрового размера. обмазал силиконе и всё течи нет.

You’re the first to recommend gasket sealer. Would you suggest cleaning the EGR valve since you have it out?

Yup I noticed this right away when I bought the car and was a little worried, glad there is an easy fix! awesome. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for any of these civic videos. What is the doohickey with the gasket we remove in the video? Also never included the gasket/plug info in description** Im sure over time this might get a lot of views

No oil can cease the engine or freeze up. Have to see if it cranks at all. Could also be timing belt.

I’m working on to replace that cap what socket number do you use to remove the EGR before getting to the cap cause I tried 10,11, and 12 it just not fit 🤬

i’m fixing this soon in my civic. does the oil need to be drained or if i have it half full can i take off the cap with no problem? not in the mood to drain so i may wait for the rest to leak out if i have to 😅
