Hi everyone, today I’m upgrading the rims and tires on my 2009 Honda CRV. It’s a fun video for me and I thought you all might like to hang with me while I transform my “new to me” Honda. I’m excited. The little things… you know? New rims, tires, lug nuts and new tire sensors completely modernize the look of the old Honda in my opinion. comment on the advertising video about fat loss.. don't get fat. You save so much money on food and training that you don't have to do . Almost forgot to comment on your new wheels, wow... not only for the wheels and tires but also about the mechanics' working method. it was a joy to watch.

hey great video. i have a 2007 CRV and new tyres are due. the only options i have in India are Bridgestone Ecopia 850 and Continental ContiCrossContact lx2. Which one would you recommend for City and Highway use? The car has never gone off road and never will. Also where I am in Bombay, it's hot 8 months of the year and raining the other 4. No winter. Love the video. I have the same CR-V but when I clicked on the link, Ebay said the rims won't fit. Do you know why? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your support 👊🏼. I don’t know why other than these wheels are for a 2016. But they fit perfectly. Same size and backspacing as the stock ‘09. As you can see in the video and to this day I’ve had no issues with them. These wheels should fit the CRV from 2007 to 2018 using the 17 inch wheel. The 5th gens also use an 18 inch wheel. These wheels are the 17 X 7.5 and should fit your 3rd gen like mine no problem.

Hey thanks for checking in. The Continental True Contact tires I have on my CRV have gone up in price since I dropped this video. They are expensive. Your best bet is to order them online and have a qualified shop mount and balance them. They are great tires in every season. Pretty quiet too. Great in rain AND snow! Thanks for your support. Two of the quietest, smoothest, excellent wet traction and fuel saving are the Continental True Contacts I use in this video and the Uniroyal Tiger Paw AS which we use a lot of for our customers. Thanks for the comment.

Do you these tyres would be okay for light offroading on the sandy beach or firetrail?

Maybe… but I would recommend an all terrain/street tire for that like Continental’s TerrainContact A/T. You’ll be glad you did. The tires I put on in this video (and still have) are awesome street driving and fantastic in Snow & rain. Thanks! 👊🏼

I left the link in the description of the video, but unfortunately the seller i bought from doesn’t have it for sale any longer. I purchased them in ‘21. You would have to go to eBay and research it from other sellers. The rims are for the 2016 model year Honda CRV.

Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring A/S All-Season 225/65R17 102H Tires, would these tires fit with those rim?
