I installed this a couple montha ago. definitely sticking with setting C. the other 2 are way too extreme for daily driving. the worst part of the whole install was accessing those bolts on the right side. wasnt hard other than that

I agree, C all the way for daily driving! Try installing it with a camera and light in the way, lol I messaged Acuity and asked them what camera they used to get such close up shots.

Tried removing the pedal today and cant seem to remove the wiring harness. Do I push on the left side of the connector or from the front? This took way longer than I expected. You made it look so simple and calm 😅

The tab is on the left side. Pinch the left and right side together and wiggle upward.

I have a 2020 Fit LX CVT, do you know if YOUR brake pedal and the CVT brake pedal are at similar heights and location? Thanks for the very interesting video and the time you put in to explain the installation process.

I'd think the brake pedals are probably about the same height. but, auto brake pedals are wider than on manuals. so I'd be worried about the gas pedal moving too close to the left to the brake pedal

Hi gerry, Sorry for the delay. I went ahead and asked Acuity Instruments about this and here's what they said... "Hey! It's Pawinn seeing this, I'm gonna ask Todd when the shop opens back up Monday this question and see there's any differences with that brake pedal location. We have seen plenty of CVT 10th gen civic owners put this spacer on their cars too, so I wouldn't be surprised if this was the same case with the CVT Fits" I'd give them a call. It does sound like the Gas & Brake Pedal have similar spacing on both CVT and Manual transmissions. I'm going to guess that the CVT brake lever is in the same location as the manual brake lever and that the larger brake pedal only takes up more room by increasing the width of the brake pedal to the left. Since there is no clutch, the wider brake pedal would not be an issue. Thank you for your comment. It is much appreciated.

I wonder if the CVT brake pedal is larger, but only by extending it's width on the left hand side. This would give you a larger brake pedal and keep the same spacing between automatic and manual vehicles.

Lol, now do it multiple times for different camera views :) For future viewers, What gave you the most trouble? Every once and awhile I had hard time inserting the top Allen bolt into the gas pedal and spacer. The issue was caused by the automotive carpet being in the way and not letting the pedal or spacer lay flat on the frame of the car.
