Wow!!! That's the most gummed up carb I've ever seen!!!That choke lever was really stuck. I loved how you changed the mat after cleaning the exterior of the carb, no point in letting that debris enter the inside of the carb. Hope you cleaned the cookie sheet before you sneaked it back in the kitchen.:)

Perfect example of why you should use non ethanol gas in your mower and especially in your 2 stroke engines. Good job.

Good idea on the Allen tool. I’ve seen guys fight those with pliers and everything thing else. I have that same mower since 2012. Never had the carburetor off. Still starts on the 1st pull. Had to replace the back shield on the air filter. And here lately I had to order the bracket for the drive spring. I own 3 Hondas now.

My HRR2166VXA is making a squealing noise especially when the blade is engaged. I replaced the clutch bearing but it didn’t fix. What should I look for now?

Hi Dale. Where did you find this clutch assembly? I can’t seem to find a part number, do you have the part number or a resource to find the part?

What is the emulsion tube and its purpose? Thank you.
@DaleHobbs39Күн бұрын
It is a tube with several holes that is located after the main jet. It helps atomize the fuel before it is pulled in the carburetor. images.app.goo.gl/jxF3DgTbnRgGZA9FA
