I don't know why this video is so calming. Oh wait probably because I just shoveled sidewalks etc for 40 minutes. I still have two large driveways to do 🙄 Maybe if I keep watching this soothing video it will just do it by itself 😆 My good friend have this exact model so I'm just going to use it instead of breaking my back. It's a nice little snowblower, not big on the manual shoute but not complaining either. Just sucks its no good in what the plows leave behind 😕

I don`t understand why you are walking back. Why are you not blowing the snow both ways?
@DobsonGT33 жыл бұрын
It's hard to tell in the video, but the driveway is on a slope and there is ice under the snow. I was shuffling my feet a lot to stay upright. I could not push back towards the house.

These contractor Honda model cost $999.00 + tax in Canada. Cost more than some mid size 2 stage snowblower.

Bought this model 2007 has a tendency to clog in wet snow. Otherwise work fine

This snow looks like pretty dry snow. I would like to know how this honda hs520 does with wet snow? Thanks in advance!
@tony95547 жыл бұрын
Yea, that's looks fairly dry considering how far its being thrown
@DobsonGT35 жыл бұрын
Yep! It was very dry. Wet snow works OK until you hit the street where the trucks have plowed and packed it. Get the shovel out for that.

DobsonGT3 ... Snow blowing 90% is Better than shoveling 100% ! Excellent machine And Video !

Would have like to have seen if it was this machine that took care of the plow snow bank.
@loktom40686 жыл бұрын
scatpack440 These machines with rubber augers are not designed for hard packed snowbanks by city snowplows. He didn't show the audience that he remove the snowbank by manual labor with a shovel at the end of the driveway in his video.
@DobsonGT35 жыл бұрын
The Honda took care of the snow bank. It was dry fluffy snow, no problem. Did not want a 30 minute video. Granted, if this was wet snow, I would have needed a shovel to manually remove the snow bank.

@@loktom4068 Just go slow, if it wont do it find a competitor that will. Life is way to short to tolerate an underperformer.

nice video, but start in the middle and blow snow to either side of the drive that way you are blowing extra snow along the edge the didn't make it to the lawn.
@DobsonGT35 жыл бұрын
Blowing the other direction caused the dry snow to just blow back. If the snow was wet, that would work.
@charredskeleton5 жыл бұрын
Only works if you can cast both directions.

Sadly, all Honda power equipment no longer sold in USA due to them pulling out of the market over climate regulations.
