Another great video! In case you get stuck, MotoMD also has a video on rebuilding/fixing the clutch slave cylinder on a Honda Magna but it looks like you're on the right track. I'm going to have to do this myself as well on my '85 Sabre after I'm done rebuilding the carbs. Hope you figured it out and able to take it out for a nice ride and enjoy it! EDIT: I don't know why but this video popped up in my new feed and I thought it was a brand new video. After my above reply I happened to notice this video was from last year ... LOL! I guess that explains it because I was a bit confused thinking, I thought this bike was working fine and he's been riding it recently ... LOL!

I did the same thing this season. I read that the brake fluid type 3 evaporates in the slave from heat so I went to dot4 synthetic and never bothered me again...

Will you do something to the front forks?

Yes, I will. I think I will try to clean them before I take them all apart.

Did that work?

If your clutch plates are not stuck together this would’ve worked. In my case, I needed to change the oil in the bike with fresh oil, warm the bike up and sit in first gear with the clutch, pulled in and rock it back-and-forth until those plates freed up. It has been good ever since.
