Hi! I'm very interestested about this bike. Just an answer: does the "confort" seat increase much the height in comparison to standard one? I'm 5.4 tall and had no problem at driving the bike with standard seat, but Whatching at "confort pack" it provides confort seats. Thanks :)

I asked a Honda dealer here in Northern California about this bike yesterday, May 12th and he had no idea even of its existence, let alone availability in the United States.

I think he's a DCT model. wheelie gear first gear. Does the front wheel go up well?

is stable until final speed ? and if so how stable it is with load and passenger?

I went for a test ride on one of these yesterday. I agree with you about the switchgear - the number of times I hit the horn rather than cancelling the indicator was annoying. Why does the clutch cable come right over the ignition key? Such a pain to get the key out with gloves on. Compared to my ST1100, the twin puts more vibration through the handlebars than the v4 of the Pan. Now I have said everything I did not like. Most of these are just niggles that could be gotten used to rather than deal-breakers. I enjoyed riding the bike, and it looks like it will be the replacement I will get for the Old Pan. I don't know what the headlights are like at night; can anyone tell me?

That Bike has the comfort seats already, so you wouldn’t get any comfier than that. Also the fog lights are not standard.

Can't justify the 5000€ price increase over the NC750X... the NT1100 needed at least a shaft drive, or something...

Great review and insight. One of the biggest fails for this bike as a touring bike is that its chain driven. All other tourers in this category are shaft drive.
