oil drain bolt is 18 ft-lb. filter cover is 7 ft lb.

THANKS... my 85 year old neighbor called me and asked How to check the oil on his sons Honda 350 4x4 Quad (as I was fixing his 650 Bombardier ) there was no oil check on the oil plug ??? I thought maybe the rod fell off ??? I watched 3 YT videos before I seen there was 2 oil plugs and I was wondering that cause I fixed his sons Honda a year ago and had a veg memory of there being 2 plugs into the engine/tranny... Now I know one check other fill.... Thanks again

I changed the oil on mine today just like I have been since I bought it back in 2002 and it ran fine for a while then when I gave it gas it would start tonight Down , do you have and idea on how to fix it

I have a question, on my 2001 Honda rancher 350 the oil on the fill side of the engine is almost full to the top and on the dipstick side it is right at the line for the fill mark. Do you know what can be wrong with it?

My oil tank if almost full but the oil on the dipstick isn't going up at all and suggestions?

I drained the oil on my 2006 350 (it drained for approximately 15m.)Added 1.5 quarts. It shows over full mark once I shut it off and let it settle. Why is that

Brother just gave my son his old 2002 Honda TRX 350 TM2. There is apparently a TM and a TM2. I know that the TM means two-wheel manual, but can anyone tell me what the 2 means? Many thanks!

hey John whats up just a little question what will happen to my rancher if i forgot to put that spring back in after my last oil change because i did lol i am putting it back it doesn't seem to have hurt it that i can tell like the way you operate on your work spot on great reference videos very helpfull

It keeps the filter from backing up all the way on the case. You definitely want it in there as it could cause some flow issues without it. Good news is it will only take a few minutes to correct.

It all runs off the same oil. When you change the engine oil you are also changing transmission

I would I've ran many cars and trucks well over the 500,000km by using oil additives and engine cleaners also new spark plugs & wires ever 100,000 and over service your air cleaners.... and High quality oil & filter.... 39 years Auto-Body

alright so do you use 20w-50? or 10w-30? you have both in the video at 4:50. I just got an old quad thats been sitting for years and im trying to learn.

Normally, 10w-30, but when an engine is long in the tooth, you can use a higher weight

I use rotella t4 15-40. Wet clutch approves also

What kind of oil is best for a 250 Honda besides the gn4 kind because I don't live near a fourwheeler store I do live beside a Wal-Mart tho could I buy some there

10w30 oil. Doesn't have to be Honda oil.

Question,, when checking oil does stick get screwed down or leave it up for an accurate reading?

I always check a bike or small engine UN-screwed oil dipstick... that way you can check 2-3 times quick and its always a-little over filled rather than under filled... Never had a problem with Any Make or Model

Honda says to NOT screw in the dipstick when checking the oil on all of their atv's/atc's.

Hey I was wondering why I am going through oil. It's not smoking, there was a little oil in air box and air filter is oily. I went from full to bottom line in 200km What should psi be on compression test? 2001 trx350fm1

If you're not burning it, you're leaking it. Check for leaks.
