Just acquired another good ol' rancher 350, did all these this afternoon. Good to have this video to refresh the memory. The front diff drain bolt seems like it was never actually in line with the guard hole. I'd consider making the hole a little larger if you're like me and like to change fluids more often due to water riding.

Another quick tip from a ex valvoline employee. Take the fill cap off when draining to allow better flow. Imagine pouring a bottle of water out and see the restriction. If you were to stab a hole in the end it will vent. Also doesn't hurt to run some Trans fluid in it to full to clean the engine very very well. Also if you've had your quad or any machine for a long time and have never loosened that bolt yet do not, DO NOT USE 12 point on them. Buy yourself a nice 6 point set from harbor freight or norther tool etc. It'll save you from possibly having to buy extractor bits and new bolts! If you have anymore questions I can try and answer them.

I've got the 2003 rancher, take care of them and they last for ever. I preassure wash it before servicing. Have a good one 👍
