In this video I am going to show you how I upgraded my 1st generation Honda Ridgeline wheels and tires to a set of Cragar 17x8 steel 8 hole wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich All Terrain KO2 LT245/65R17 tires. I also used new OEM Honda TPMS sensors and OEM Honda center caps for steel wheels and lug nuts. This upgrade provides better looks, stronger wheels and a much needed traction upgrade for off road and winter conditions. It also makes the Ridgeline have a slightly wider stance for better stability.
Parts used are listed below with links to purchase (Amazon Paid Links)
Cragar Soft 8 Wheel (4 req) amzn.to/3mxajeI
BF Goodrich KO2 Tire (4 req) amzn.to/3dTjqmf
Honda 44732-SJC-A01 Wheel Center Cap (4 req) amzn.to/3mArb4r
Honda 90304-SHJ-A01 - Wheel Nut (20req) amzn.to/2Re6fV8
Honda 06421-S3V-A04 TPMS Sensor Assembly (4req) amzn.to/3fYnrbu

I keep coming back to this video because those wheels look amazing! You are correct stating that there are VERY few truck rugged style wheels for the Ridgeline. I see your video is getting placed into Ridgeline forums too so this should be great for your exposure.

super helpful video. I wish there were more wheels that had a similar look but dont require drilling. Still debating between the bf goodrich ko2s and the Faulken Wildpeak, but it is helpful to see how the goodrich look

This is EXACTLY the look I want for my 2011 Honda Pilot Touring 4WD and it has the same dumb lug pattern that Honda went with, 5x120. The first gen Pilots have a different pattern with many wheel options. IDK why they went with this bolt pattern. I saw many people have used 5x4.75 wheels on a 5x120 bolt pattern on older cars, so I was leaning that way. Thanks to you, now I know what to do! I was thinking of going with 17x9 wheels though with a 0 offset, I know they will stick out a bit more.

So I wanted to do this to my 2011 Pilot, but instead, I ended up getting 2" Bonoss wheel spacers and keeping the 17" six spoke OEM wheels. I did get a set of Kumho A/T tires in 245/65R17 and I have no rubbing, even at full lock. Next up, i'm gonna do a xenon projector headlight retrofit with switchback lighting and a 2" lift later down the road.

Would it make sense to go from a 65 to a 60 to help with that rubbing issue....? Happy I came across this

Iv been looking for the past 2 weeks for a Baja style wheel like that for my Ridgeline and I got lucky and came across your video. Now my question is I found a different wheel beside the crager soft 8, And I was wondering if what you did could be done with this wheel. Brand is American racing AR172 Baja the make a 17x8. Also could wheel adapters work or just getting a different bolt pattern installed on our Ridgelines?

@@JackofAllMasterofNone hey man. Do you think this honda ridgeline is worth it with the body damage. I'm trying to get him down to $3800 from $4500. It has 200,000 miles, but I heard these ridgelines run forever if you take care of them. miami.craigslist.org/brw/cto/d/coral-springs-2006-honda-ridgeline-4wd/7309816750.html

The stock aluminum wheels look great (Almost Hummerish) if you paint them black. Have 265 70 17 Duratracs on mine and they don't stick out, just fill the wheel well. A little bit of shaving but no big deal. Lift doesn't make better tire clearance like most think.

With the bolt pattern 4.75 (120.65) have you noticed any wear or fitment issues? Or did reaming out the holes make them closer to 120?
@JackofAllMasterofNone
@JackofAllMasterofNone Жыл бұрын
Yes. Reaming out the holes made it fit perfectly.

@JackofAllMasterofNone
@JackofAllMasterofNone 3 жыл бұрын
Either way it's probably going to run with wheels that stick out farther. The only way to prevent minor rubbing is to keep factory wheel offset.
