Together with the crank journal pickup, it looks like oil pump failure. On the RC51 the first place that shows up is on the rear inlet cam. Oil pressure light may go out but the pressure can be too low. Check the rotor tips for scoring. If any, it's shot.

Thank you, the front cams went shot and I believe also it was due to oil starvation. I think the bike was driven with low oil and it happened on WOT. I find your comment very useful, thank you again. going to check the oil pump. luckily I have 2.

LOL, Movember is important! Yes, I disnt predict it at all, wouldnt have seem it of the cams werent removed

Interesting build, don’t rush it whatever you do. Use a thin walled socket for those head bolts. Just curious, are the bores coated or cast iron?

Thanks man. Yeah Im waiting on parts from Honda thats on backorder now. I have more than enough to keep my hands busy while I wait. The cylinders I believe is not coated
