you failed to mention some features are not available on lower trims but touring or elite....

I am so very thankful for your help on this. I have this van and did not know about all of these features. I have already scraped he mirrors , and I did not know about the feature.

Got to ride around in one of those, made me actually like minivans, super comfy seats and smooth ride.

I purchased a 2018 Honda Odyssey Elite last week (Obsidian Blue), we had a 2007 Odyssey Touring which was a fantastic vehicle. The Elite has so many awesome features but one thing it does not have is the ability to park itself. We are very happy with the purchase.

Very important key features that are no longer available in new Odyssey: 1) right side mirror camera - great safety feature 2) second raw seats don't fold down - major inconvenience if you need to transport big flat items 3) no cooling box - was great 4) no compass - this one is downright ridiculous

Great review love the children involved, which brings me to a question why don't Honda and other van makers have roll down windows in back? My daughter is okay, but my son is afraid of not being able to let his window down. Also complimentary sunshades would be nice on every trim. I hate the heat in the back of some vans.

lots of very nice features.It would have been nice if the RES audio zone setting is saved permanently until you change it again.to rear zone when it is saved, I am finding it starting with original settings when I restart the car. Also it would have been really nice if the file transfer app can copy in music from the disc. upgraded from a 2007 crv and all my songs were on discs. hopefully, i can have these on a future software update..

Hi Jason, will Honda bring back the analog speedometer instead of the digital? When I goto Canada from USA, it's in KM NOT MILES... With digital speedometer, I won't know what the conversion from miles to kilometres and vice versa.

Man this is the most advanced Honda Odyssey that I have ever seen.

We need a comparison between the new and the old Odyssey.... how do the new one drives? is it really quieter/ better to drive? how is the new suspension/gearbox/steering compared to the old? the air condition is it better and cooler or not? also is the front seats smaller or bigger as they changed the front console which will change your legs space? very important for tall guys still did not find anyone that covered this

I have a question for all the Honda Odyssey professionals. I'm looking for a Honda Odyssey preferably 2014 and newer excluding 2018. Which year model would you prefer and why? While browsing CarMax, I think I found that one year model, I don't know the year, has an extremely wide TV for the second and third row. Would anyone happen to know what your model this is?

Is power folding mirror feature standard on EX and up?

Jason I saw a chart that showed the 2018 Odyssey has a lower towing capacity than the 2017 model(3,000 lbs vs 3500 lbs) for most trims. With a more powerful engine, new transmission and tighter body, I would have thought that number would go up and not down. Thoughts?

The early 2000's Honda Odyssey and Stepwagon came with a DOHC 2.4 V-tec but it only produced 160bhp. I know you don't buy these types of cars for performance but is there any way by changing inlet manifolds, Cams or ECU's that you can increase the BHP in these engines?

Important about your Easter egg, the Honda's are using Android's car OS. This isn't Android auto because Android Auto is for front facing stuff. But the android os actually runs the back end of the car. The reason they are separate is things like lag & accurate speedometer have to be no lag and impossible to mess with. So you have a background OS running. It was a big part of Google I/O this year.

I like the Kia Sedona's interior layout better. Very Audi like. It also has had the power side mirrors for a few years now. The new Honda touchscreen is much better than the dual screen but it still doesn't look as nicely integrated or user friendly as the Kia's

Honda Pro Jason - Please help! The RES on the 2018 Honda Odyssey does NOT have a "play" or "enter" button on the front screen, even while in PARK. Ie. Disney blue ray dvds ask for "Language selection"....the only way to select enter is from the remote control??(driver reaching back to hit enter, kids are not of age to read yet). This also happens for "resume playback, yes/no". Do you know of any solutions to this? Sometimes the autoplay will work through it, but most of the time we are unable to find a route to control this from the front dash screen. I can't imagine the folks at HONDA would FAIL to create consumer friendly dvd control. Also, there is no way to run "Scene selection" from the front. When hitting the "disc menu" button we get NO response on the front dash screen. Please advise/help! The dealership didn't know so I'm hoping you do! Thanks BAM

My remote starter isn’t working on my 2019 Honda Odyssey… When I bought the car a week ago it was working… some plug by my foot unplugged… I took it to Honda Dealership they’re no help telling me to go back to the dealer I pushed it… I purchased it online… do you have a video showing how the wiring should look for the remote starter???
