I recently bought the Bentgo Chill lunchbox in an effort to keep my 7 year old's lunch cold till lunch time. I also liked that it had larger compartments than our Bentgo kids lunchbox. In this video I give you a full review of the Bentgo Chill lunchbox. We have been using it for a full week right now and can share this review honestly. Are you able to review the pack it lunch bag where you put it in the freezer instead of using ice packs please?

Oh no! That stinks the water got into the other compartments in this box! I'm sad it didn't hold up as well as the most recent one you posted! Good to know the dressing held up better! So interesting that you didn't find a temperature difference with this box after 6 hours! So cool that it has the built-in ice pack tho! I love that you had the actual thermometer out here to check tho, lol!!! We know you're giving us the most accurate information :)

I definitely am a bigger fan of the bentgo pop but my youngest still likes this bentgo chill ! 😂 I’ve seen other comments about the ice pack not staying cold on Amazon so hopefully they will upgrade it.

I didn’t get this one because of the reviews and I like the dip well in the prints ones. Instead I put an Arctic Zone Ice Wall under it and one on top of it. Everything stays cold all day. My son’s yogurt pouch is still cold after school so he usually eats that on the way home. Also I put the Bentgo Prints outer container in the dishwasher daily and so far no problems, 7 months into the school year-what issue did it cause with the dishwasher?

It can cause the container shell to shrink with heat dry- happened to one of mine and I've see it as an issue that can happen. Over all I still really like the bentgo products though!

@@KathyMLifestyle oooh, makes sense. We don’t use the heated dry on our dishwasher, so hopefully we won’t have any problems!

Put the ice pack with water first and Put it in freezer please ( from Melissa in Augusta Australia)

They have these for a great price right now at Sam's and I'm trying to decide on the chill or regular bentgo for my prek twins

I really liked the bentgo kids at that age! The compartments are a great size.

Did keeping the box open affect the temperature test?

It was closed on the counter during the waiting period. It may have been a couple of degree's cooler if I took the temp with the box closed at the beginning. There are also some other comments I found on Amazon where others have experienced the ice pack not staying cold very long.

@@KathyMLifestyle Thank you for the review Kathy, after watching it, I tried myself to leave this lunch box on the counter, mine reached the room temperature in 2 hours, so returned it back to the store, however the regular Bentgo boxes are great.

I put this bento inside an insulated lunch bag and it stays nice and cool for at least 4 hours :)
