There is a historical account of a Hungarian Nobleman who got a spear head right through his right / left eye into his brain during a battle and survived for about a year ( I think he died from wound infection ) .

No, please they should not do that, the assassins vs templars is an extremely interesting story and i love the concept and the links it has to real life.

Its still assassin's creed, the game does show how the Assassin's are spread out in the world within various factions and regions, not everyone is going to be that basic assassin, people fight by their own fighting styles but they still have the same goal, to defeat the templars.

@@littnuke what I mean is the older ones have made it so there is not a lot of history and very corny compared to ones like assasins creed 2. Valhalla brought the history back but ones like oddysey and origins had nothing to do with history really.

@@thepunisherplayz Odyssey had historical figures. This game is just as inaccurate if not more so. Also, AC2 is still 700 years after this so perhaps the creed hasn't been created.

I LOVE how they say Bayek, the Fry twins, Kassandra and her brother ‘didn’t kill civilians, do it again and you’ll get desynchronized.’ However when Eivor as a Viking kills civilians, the game just says ‘keep doing it and you’ll get desynchronized.’

I can totally relate to the thing about exploring for 20nhrs before remembering there are story missions. I forgot that the missions were split into campaigns and never went to talk to Randvi. I just raided, built the village, and went to Asgard.... thinking I had to drastically build my village and take out order members before the story would advance. Then I talked to her as part of the Asgard level tree and realized there were campaigns I was like 40-50 levels above and still had to do... as an "all conquering god" who kills soldiers in one swing

@@videohound2005 No, the DlC should add more to Valhallas story, not the overall Assassins Creed plot. I hated the fact that Odyssey included all of its modern day plot in the DLC. Ubisoft should not charge more to understand the story in the next game. DLC should just be extra story adding to Eviors story

@@gm2407 It's still going... Tekken 7 came out in 2019 and they've been doing DLC for it ever since and it's been the biggest commercial success in the game series' history. Tekken 8 is reportedly in the works, too.

@Ludimeel Sorbo - Since Black Flag, they just don't feel like *Assassin's Creed* games any more. Don't get me wrong, Black Flag was a good game in its own right but it didn't *feel* like an AC game, it felt like a pirate game with some AC elements bolted on. There was less focus on the modern story, less overall about the Assassin's lore and history, and it was even easier, it felt more arcady. I'm sure many people love the new arcady-style with numbers popping up over heads, giant mythical beasts like in DarkSouls, heat-seeking arrows, and insanely fast-paced over-the-top combat, but it's not for me. Assassin's Creed died with AC3 for me. _(AC3 bored me and started the change away from the feeling and gameplay of first 4 games)_

Great video! 😎 Also, this is the best video quality I've seen of the game. Most of the other videos I've seen made me think the game was too brown/brown-orange, poorly drawn/rendered, dark/dull and lifeless. This video actually makes the game look pretty good.

The game is like a fast food cheeseburger. I know it’s not the best but it’s somehow enjoyable to consume. Ghost of Tsushima really is the best open world stealth game.

Hah, excellent. I am enjoying AC Valhalla, but this has pretty much hit on every single one of the immersion breaking aspects of the game. And I really, really would love it if Ubi would just make another Assassins Creed game about actual Assassins. It would be a nice change of pace.

The one thing that is different in this game is that you not only have the past/present storylines, you have a whole other storyline with the gods for some reason. I never actually finished the game but I'm sure it is tied back to the rest at some point?
