Personally, I like the colours and new appearance. All around though, these just seem like Elite with streamlined and reduced manufacturing costs, which I thought was the principle of Alphastrike. I have a feeling they invested in Ultra hoping to actually improve the on Elite and when it didn't produce an improvement they released it anyway to cover investment costs, and now they're clinging to their past successes in an attempt to recoup their losses on Ultra. That or they're just not interested in trying to compete with product quality anymore.

Cool Drac, hey I too think the Warden is definitely the coolest looking of the Elite 2.0 line so far in my book too! And yes Drac please do a Roughcut comparison, because the Roughcut happens to be my go to secondary of choice for night wars as opponents can’t guess where the two shot spread is going to go in the darkness :D Having three of them; 2 original elite ones and a white XD one, it is definitely one of my favourites! :)))

You, Ice and nerfomania got me into this hobby to mod and home make but it seems like it's been a long time since we got any detailed versions of that. It’s only been two days and I was just shooting it then all the sudden it locked up on me I tried pulling it back and everything I pulled it back finally and all the sudden I heard a click then I Pull back The priming handle then it was completely loose The trigger didn’t do anything it was completely broken. And they say there’s a number one in Glasgow brand

Is the fixet version of warden but many warden are still on sell and old design one that fail to pump air

Ok, so depending on how the internals for the rail attachment point work, I don't see how difficult it could possibly be to mod in one of the older retention mechanisms into that hole in the plastic. My best guess would be to use the original N-strike spring loaded one and not the cheaper one, since if holes need to be cut, the cheaper mechanism would need a bigger hole cut in the blaster's shell to fit, but if that turns into the common method for improving rail attachment fit, does anyone actually use the bottom rail on an Ionfire for anything? Edit: Also, Elite 2.0 should have been saved for another improvement to the internals, like how OG Elite was. It feels like Elite 2.0 so far has just been an Aesthetic update (which we could have gotten WITHOUT calling it 2.0, could have called it Cyber Elite or something) that was forced on the designers by an executive who thought "Hey, we've been selling the same blasters for YEARS without changing anything about them! Let's change that! Wait, what's that, Jenkins? You say that the old line is still selling well? Poppycock, my dear butler! One of the other servants said she saw some of OUR product at one of those charity stores and that JUST cannot stand! Have the engineers design new shells at once! Oh, and Jenkins, they're not allowed to use those fancier darts they whipped up. Those cost us 0.01 cents more per dart to make and that costs this company more money than we'd make from selling the superior darts. Wait, what do you mean nobody uses our darts? I don't care! They're still only allowed to use the standard darts!"

Custom Potential I like that vs the Roughcut, the Grip is a separate piece of plastic from the main shell. That'll make it easy to remove and replace with a new one and stock attachment.

Would like to see that comparison with the other roughcuts. Also curious if the internals are the same.

Re-releases would make sense with even minimal internal improvements, maybe a better spring or something

You should try a rough cut with the Acura strike darts it is even better that way than original darts.

Thanks as always for your honesty Drac! So far the elite 2.0 line has disappointed the hell out of me. This blaster however might be a buy from me cause I love the roughcut as much as you do. But as soon as they do a Rayven, that could show some promise. This line would be one thing if they at least increased out of the box performance or redesigned better darts. Or just have all the blasters come with only accustrikes. Literally anything is better than elites and streamlines. But no. It’s all in the marketing and ridiculous box claims where they put effort these days, as I think you’ve said before. Rival’s felt a little lacking too even except for the perces..
