It's extra sad that the movie more than tripled that $80mill worldwide, and also Grown Ups 2 earned a shit-ton, so it obviously pays off churning this crap out. (As a consolation, at least Deadpool has earned much more than that again.)

This movie has ZERO conflict. It's just a train of stupid juvenile humor chained together with no story, plot, character development, or actual effort. It really is like watching Adam Sandler's vacation home movies. The man literally made a movie about his vacation and people paid to see it. And THAT is why you can't blame Sandler anymore. You can't blame him for being lazy and phoning this shit in. He doesn't have to try. He doesn't have to put forth effort. Because fucking morons are STILL paying to see this shit. Sandler really HAS put forth effort before and with talented people behind him he has made some genuinely great and genuinely HILARIOUS movies. But he doesn't have to do any of that because he can just shit in a bucket and the droolies will throw away hard earned money to shower in it.

Makes me wonder, are you or were you a producer or screen writer, who is pissed off that his perfect character developments, plots and effort didn't even sell one seat in theatres? Seems that way. Why would I go to see a movie that's obviously wild-stringed-together comedy(you know there are things called trailers, right, that show off what the film has to offer), and expect "character development", and serious "plot"/"story"? I just go for a damn good laugh, at mindless fun. That's what I love about Sandler movies. I can just sit down...and laugh. I don't need ten pages of serious written story lines with 50 plot twists and effort, to enjoy a nice weekend movie.

I think this is the funniest Honest Trailer I’ve seen. The editing, the script and narration are all so on point. Sarcastically cutting back to the fart jokes just destroys me.

This is seriously the worst movie ever made, with its only competition being the equally horrible sequel. The only people that could find this movie funny are either children or adults with the sense of humor of a five year old. Seriously? An entire movie based off of fart and poop jokes? I guess I can see that with the cost of film itself, animation having to be drawn by hand, special effects being so painstakingly slow with having to build models and carefully set for stop-motion animation, the carefully choreographed highly designed and dangerous stunt work, and of coarse the extremely exotic locations. ..... it feels like the end bit of the movies or TV show when after the blooper they start laughing really bad or it feels like they've tried to reenact a clip from you've been framed(by the way if you didn't know what you've be framed is it's basically just someone falling or just doing something stupid) and they even add the laughing sound effect every time it gets to the "funny" bit of the clip

+Oswald Lorenz You have to remember that Adam Sandler is the one that actually wrote this movie. Every movie I've seen with Rob Schneider had Adam Sandler somewhere in it, either as a producer, writer or side character. Sandler is always giving out freebies to his friends to give them screen time. In the meantime, Sandler has only played ONE character all of these years. The charismatic, overworked, likeable, overall great guy with hot girlfriends/wife and he goes from oblivious at the beginning to all-knowing at the end of the film. Oh yeah, and he always does those stupid, creepy voices and Sandler scream voice. Yeah, that wasn't old back in the early 90s several years into him doing that. It's probably why he was fired from SNL shortly into his writing career there, because he could never come up with any new characters.

Still one of the best Adam Sandler movies. I think a lot of it (for me) was how fun it looked hanging out at that beach house. I really wanted to be there.

It looks like a fake trailer making fun of that kind of comedy. Only then, you realise it's not a trailer but a real movie, and you realise this kind of movie sells. Then you really wanna die.

+dudeman5685 I feel like they could wind up with the best terrible movie ever made. An action comedy with a twist, SO BAD it becomes a parody of itself and thus immune to mockery. Where reviewers pan it as a surprisingly self-aware tongue-in-cheek film where the directors are making fun of their own formulaic nonsense... but the three directors just thought they were working together normally. Expect a lot of fart-triggered explosions.

This movie did have one joke that actually got a chuckle from me. It's when Adam Sandler was showing the kids this old tube TV, and the kids ask "What's that big back part?" to which Adam Sandler replied "That's the rest of he TV."
