Hi Liz, Glad to find you on here. Please can I ask whether you ever use a heat protectant in your routine as I do worry what damage the diffuser can do to my hair. I cannot find any heat protect products without protein and Aloe in. Am tempted to use the Boucleme Oil before the gel as am sure I've read it is a thermal protector. Thank you

@@HonestLiz Thank you for replying so quickly and for the code. I do already have the oil and use it to scrunch the cast out usually. I will try to find a video telling me at what point in the styling procedure I should use the oil to protect my hair from heat and how much to use etc. I dread ending up with lanky hair. Cheers!

@@janetharrison6705 thanks for clarifying that for me. I love applying oil at 98% dry - or hair is already in a cast - and then i diffuse again! Thats one of the nest ways for me to use oil without oils weighing my hair down. As for thermal protection, you can apply a few drops immediately after you style, especially the ends or the ear-below length.

hey it gives me 3 days of good hair, with or wothoit leavein under it, and soft natural curls tjat get better with each passing day the way i like them so my rating of it would be biased to my preference. What are you hoping for your gel to do for you? paint me a picture so i can help you

this is a purple gel has a lot of oils- a little is enough for my hair and I love the hold I get with that. I can go 2 to 3 days. If you are wanting a cast then you want to use the gel alone or be careful about the quantity you use for your texture so you dont over-moisturise your hair (cast cannot be formed on overly moisturised hair you see?) So this is all subjective to your texture, how you style, and the products you use :)
