Honey Chicken 蜜汁鸡 | Simple Chicken recipes | Chinese style Marmite chicken
Hey everyone, hope everyone had a great Lunar New Year in the past 2 weeks. Today we are back on our normal series and we are introducing a super easy dish today: Honey Chicken.
For this recipe, you will need the following ingredients.
300g chicken
3 corianders
1 large ginger
4 cloves of garlic
6g sesame seeds
1 egg
Sweet potato flour
Chicken marinade:
1 tsp white pepper powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1.5 tbsp shaoxing wine
Sauce:
3 tbsp honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp Worchester sauce
1-2 tbsp water
Use roots of coriander in sauce
Steps:
1. Cut and marinate chicken for 2 hrs
2. Coat chicken in sweet potato flour
3. Toast sesame seeds
4. Double fry chicken.
5. Prepare sauce.
6. Fry garlic and ginger until fragrant
7. Add prepared sauce.
8. Reduce sauce and taste
9. Add in fried chicken and toss.
10. Add sesame seeds, coriander leaves garnish.
