Hey guys, hope you all enjoy this little video about Sonic Creepypastas! SMALL CORRECTION: Turns out, Knuckles Chaotix is a 32-bit game, hence making the author of that one story correct in that regard and me wrong. Since I haven’t played the game yet, I simply looked at some gameplay and thought ”hey, that looks 16-bit!” but as some commenters have pointed out, due to the game being on the 32X, it’s actually a 32-bit game. Apologies that that error slipped in, that was an oversight on my part and I stand corrected! Speaking of that story though, it turns out that the story, Sonic3.exe, is heavily based on a Sonic.exe fangame of the same name which came out before it and is where the screenshots used in the story is from, as they were seemingly not created specifically for the story! The fangame is basically just the same as what was described in the story! I had no knowledge of this until a commenter pointed this out and that is really interesting to say the least, it appears as though the author took inspiration from the fangame as well! - I tried a somewhat different approach this time around, offering deeper constructive criticism where I saw fit! Hopefully it is appreciated and goes over well! I also gotta say, animating with sprites is so much fun and I feel it added a whole lot to the video. The "Sonic Death Game" one (9:08) had an extremely promising start: The scene with Tails grieving over someone's death both establishes a premise quickly (hunting down and battling whoever or whatever killed the friend) and creates suspense (the fact that the friend died as a bloody puddle both hides their identity and indicates how horrifying the killer is, urging the readers to continue); and, the story could have been god-tier if the author had chose to write about the search for the killer while depicting how the sonic characters cope with ever-increasing fear and grief. However, everything fell apart at the speed of light once 10:12 happens... It gave me the feeling that someone intentionally sabotaged everything after the part and made it as bad as possible...

I remember thinking about writing one. But differently from the rest of the world, my mindset was "My character isn't as cool and iconic as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Amy, etc... My is pretty boring and no one wants him. Hm LET'S MAKE HIM A BORING SIDE CHARACTER WITH NO RELEVANCE AT ALL" i have no idea how it would turn out

I gotta say, I enjoy your new approach to reading Creepypastas! The fact you also mention that you did some similar tropes with your writing made me smile. I was always embarrassed about my writing because of the stigma behind self-inserts and overused tropes so hearing you say you used them too made me feel better and not cringe as much at my old writing. I hope the younger writers can laugh and appreciate their old writing with commentary like yours! I know I sure couldn’t when I was younger 😅

I'll always appreciate the tone you take when you do these creepypasta vids. You actually provide worthwhile criticism and don't just shame the authors for things they've made. When I was a kid, I made a LOT of Ratchet and Clank fanfiction and I thank my stars that I did most of that on paper, because I'd be really embarrassed to have someone read it these days. Still, it's sweet that you encourage people to keep writing and not give up. I think that's the push a lot of young writers need to keep at it and improve!

The Japanese text at 20:15 says "Sonic is behind you, Charlie. He will get you in 2 years." Side note: it's written using super polite phrasing. Nice of the spooky mystery episode to be respectful in its death threats :)

Absolutely love the positivey you put in these videoes. Yes the bad pastas are entertaining but the care that you put into them to provide helpful feedback and always encourage making mistakes to get better is truly inspiring. Many other youtubers/ creators should follow in your example!

You really are one of my favourite creators because you actually want these kids to keep doing what theyre doing and having fun instead of just calling them cringe and relentlessly going after their work because it isnt perfect. Thanks a lot for doing this! Im sure your content gives a lot of kids the will to keep going, and if i grew up with you instead of deviantcringe (and related creators) i think my self confidence in my creative work wouldve been way better even now ehe

The scariest part of that Sticks.avi creepypasta is the fact that Amy was shown in the scenes, yet she is only implied to be dead. It never says outright that Sticks kills her.

18:09 Man I loved this one, it made me laugh so hard I almost choked on my lunch lol XD But for real now, I used to watch AOSTH all the time when I was younger, and I still watch it now days. The "creepypasta" was most likely made as a joke, but what if it wasnt??? I'm not the best writer in the world but I do have some ideas! So... Sonic killing Robotnik reminded me of Sonic.EXE (for obvious reasons), so what if this new creepypasta was an alternative version of Sonic.exe, where instead of having a copy of the first Sonic game, we would have a copy of an episode from AOSTH?? Let's start the episode! The intro would be normal, except that the screen would flash for a second, showing Sonic with red eyes, Tails is nowhere to be seen, red background, DIC 666, etc. The first one being killed would be Robotnik. I'm not sure how he would be killed... maybe the same way he was in the video? We dont have Knuckles in AOSTH, so instead of killing him, Sonic would kill Scratch, Grounder and Coconuts. Scratch and Grounder's deaths wouldnt be seen. And yes, I know that Scratch, Grounder and Coconuts are robots and that they can be fixed (AKA revived), but what if their motherboards or other very important part of their bodies ended up broken? And keep in mind that Robotnik is dead, so he wont be able to fix them! Anyway, Coconuts would find Scratch and Grounder's bodies (or pieces) while cleaning the house. Sonic would show up behind Coconuts, but Coconuts would be able to run away and eventually Sonic would disappear from some reason... After that, Coconuts would try to fix Scratch and Grounder. Unfortunately, he would fail to fix them... Coconuts would start crying, not only because he wasnt able to bring his friends back, but also because he knows that his death his near... Coconuts hears Sonic coming, but... Coconuts just let's himself get killed. Tails is the last one. Tails see Sonic all covered in blood (and maybe oil from the robots) and freaks out. Sonic seems too calm for what he just did. Before Tails is able to run away, Sonic grabs him and kills him... and the episode ends... Things like the "Ready for round two?" and other stuff that happen during the Sonic.EXE game would also happen during the episode So, what do yall think of these ideas? Do you think this could become a good creepypasta?

Description: SCP 2012-J is a standard CD with the word "Sonic.exe" written on it in perminent Sharpie marker. It poses no direct threat, however, and can be handled without incident. However, if played on a computer, it reveals a file known as "Sonic.exe." If opened, it is revealed to be a ROM hack of the 1991 Sega Genesis platforming video game, Sonic the Hedgehog. This ROM hack has extreme differences from it's source material, such as the main character, Sonic, on the title screen with black eyes with red pupils, with blood leaking from them, the sea in the background turning red (Presumably blood) the words "Sega 666" in place of "Sega 1991", among other things, appearing on the title screen for a split-second when the start button is pressed. 3:37 THANK YOU! Finally, someone else that also loves Sonic Rush Adventure. It was one of my first DS games as a kid, and one of my personal favorites. Interesting tidbit: I actually wrote a Sonic Rush Adventure creepypasta when I was about 12 (it was all handwritten on some notebook along with some drawings that acted as screenshots). I should dig it up and do a reading of it at some point, finally put it out there for the world to poke fun at.

my own Sonic Creepypasta: 25/03/2013 I had just moved into an apartment, when i was going to go buy some bread, i realised there was a GameStop near my house, so i went in, but there was something weird about it, it was completely empty, i turned on the lights, and i saw a Sonic Game that i had never seen before, " This must be a prototype! " i said, and grabbed the Game, it said " Sonic the Hedgehog 4 ", i was confused, since it looked like a Genesis game, but Sonic 4 was never released in the Sega Genesis, but i didn't really care, i went back home with the game, a few minutes later, i was able to get the game started, the title screen looked just like it should, but... Sonic was worried, i pressed start, it was the Sonic 3 Character select, i checked the 3 characters, but when i pressed up to go back to Sonic & Tails, there was an Extra character, i decided to play as him as i always did when there were new characters, i started at a zone named " Snowy Mountain Zone ", as the name said, it was a Snowy Mountain, like Ice Cap, i passed the 2 acts, but then, there was a Cutscene: Eggman started to flee as he always did, but then.... his Eggmobile Blew up!, i thought it was going to be alright, he had survived the Death Egg, right? anyways, Eggman did survive, but then... the new Character grabbed Eggman, and threw him into some spikes at the bottom of the mountain, Eggman died, the new character laughed, and Spindashed out of the screen, then the tittle screen appeared, it was exactly the same, but when i pressed start, the TV Turned off, since then, i haven't played the game again, but... i really want to see what happens...
