Hooters has a strong history in the NASCAR Cup Series. Whether that was the 1992 Hooters 500 or with drivers like Alan Kulwicki and Chase Elliott. They're a loved establishment, whether you go for the wings or the breasts. However, they have decided to leave Hendrick Motorsports midseason. Knowing that this move would upset Nick Adams, why would Hooters pull the plug?

I've only been to Hooters once in my life. I live in rural America and we went to a expo like 2 hours away and that is my nearest Hooters. There's none really convenient for me where I live.

I am a gen z kid and I am fine with hooters and I can’t wait to go to one in a few weeks but the thing is that this is a great opportunity for another restaurant or even coke to step up and sponsee Chase

If Alan Kulwicki saw this, not only he would hate that, BUT HE'D BE SO PISSED OFF AND TYRANNICALLY OUTSPOKEN about that announcement. 😕

Hooters was planning on going with Dale Jarrett in 1996 because he was going to start his own team and take his Busch team Cup racing. But his solid 1995 season convinced Larry Mac and Robert Yates to sign him to drive the #88 car and that was a wise move. Larry McReynolds said on the scene podcast that a man like DJ with three young kids and a wife and what Hooters would ask DJ to do probably was not the best move.

I believe this is a perfect opportunity for Dave's Hot Chicken to sponsor Chase Elliott for a number of races because this restaurant blends in perfectly for Gen Z and what Nascar is going for in a Post-Pandemic world. I will always be a Hooters guy, but I have my routes to go for when it's time to let the past go.

ive had Hooters ONCE. they catered it in at my old job. The food was HIGHLY overrated. the ONLY thing they got going for them is the "breasts".

Uhhh I never known Hooters to have nice meals because you didn't go to Hooters for the food, you went for the drinks, maybe chicken wings & see the Hooter girls. Last time I was in my local Hooters was 1996 but I'm like you, I'd rather go to Chili's, Outback or one of those type places to eat rather than Hooters or Twin Peaks! Besides, I don't eat wings & never have, don't pay for overpriced mixed drinks or beer at any restaurants.

As a Canadian, I find the idea of Hooters weird as hell. I like TNA sure, everybody does, but a restaurant where I'm supposed to eat and feel aroused around a ton of other guys? No thanks.

Not to mention their shady antics after Kulwicki's death as well as far as how they treated Alan's team and their hard on for Loy Allen, Jr and one of the high ups at Hooters saying Bill ELliott was not Hooters kind of guy as well. Hooters screwed over Kulwicki's team, thankfully that team survived
